It's becoming obvious that she has had enough of her degree hence the fact that she doesn't want to talk about it and isn't as interested in it as she was before as she is more interested in working on her novel than actually studying. This video is giving me very weird vibes as something is definitely off with Ruby because even back home she isn't her usually bubbly self.she’s not feeling like talking about her degree, which pretty much tells you all you need to know. She’s escaping.

That's what I was wondering it was really odd especially when there was nothing on it to censor. I have to say though I found the whole video very weird as a number of things felt off.Genuine question why was she censoring part of the bird seed bag?
That'd actually make sense, I always thought she'd keep 'studying' but in Exeter before the big Oxford announcement, and in a different subject.I think she was at least considering it as an option during her GAP YAHH. She had a spontaneous renewed superficial interest in religion/philosophy (which mainly involved re-reading all her old theology lecture notes) while waiting for an Oxford decision.
A PhD is likely off the table now considering how badly post-grad has gone for her but she'll be desperate to keep a foot in academia because her fake brand/persona is so tied to it. So I think if she goes back to uni, it'll be at a lower level and she knows Exeter will treat her with kid gloves.
She'd no doubt then spin any Oxford failures as the academic system mistreating her along with her heart not being in it because she JANUINELY wanted to study theology all along. "OIY SHUD HAFF TROSSTED MOIY GOT!" Then it'll be 3 years of comparitively low-stakes essays she can cannibalise from online sources while churning out more vlogs of her staring at her screen pretending to be exceedingly busy, with no pressure to get a job or grow up.

She's seems to be doing some critical reading and research for her dissertation but like Griftwood says she has been oddly quiet about it as she hasn't mentioned what topic she is doing.
