Did you guys in the UK have those French cartoons that show you how the human body works? They were very popular in Italy and I loved them as a kid, so even as a 5 year old I probably knew that blood carries oxygen to the brain
Yes, we had them in Germany too and I loved them as a kid! 🥰

Slightly off topic but I believe you have to do some Latin when studying medicine
In the UK you don’t need to formally study Latin at school in order to do medicine, but there is Latin terminology in medicine that you will use as you progress in your studies later (at university), so it’s certainly not unhelpful!

The terms are eight weeks but that is mainly for undergraduates. Realistically you need to be working outside of that to complete a taught masters (like the one Ruby is doing).

However, I don’t think she will drop out. I think she will make excuses, get extensions, and possibly cheat a bit.

God I’d love a documentary of her wandering around the rough parts of Glasgow. She’d faint if she came here. Not least because she’d get called out on her bullshit if she started it in public.
had a look at her IG stories and they’ve sent her to west kilbride of all places 💀

There likely will be a fair amount of archive work. This is the course you do as training if you want to become an academic working in this field, in order to acquire the professional skills (working with very old books, MSS, etc), so it does focus a decent amount on that stuff. However, Ruby manages to talk about it in a rather confusing and misleading way!

I’m late with this but did this grown adult woman really print off a load of random “quotes” off Tumblr and make a pointless little scrap book with them 💀
I'm afraid you've already got it wrong with "grown adult woman".

In fairness, she has finally changed her duvet after 2 months. Unfortunately, she's changed it to her VARRY AUTOMMINAL PONKIN DYOOVAY COVVAH, so it's a given that it'll stay on there until December when she puts that winter PANGWIN BADDING back on.

The question is, has she finally changed that oatmeal striped sheet she had on there for 3 months?

There's a pale sheet of some kind poking out from under the checked flat sheet (which is still draped all over her dusty floor), but it's hard to tell if that's that same swampy sheet she slapped on straight from the packaging and left on since May.
Can she not manage to tuck sheets in? Why is it hanging like that?! 🤔

What point in the video does she show A Little Princess as I have watched the video and didn't see it.
It was near the beginning, when she was sitting down, taking some quiet time to reflect on her birthday, she was outside, opening a card and a package from the mail. Obviously from Rubster. Not when she opened her other gifts. This was much earlier in the video.

(By the way, Watson is also a fairly awful person - she may not be on par with Ruby, but she’s certainly not a wonderful, ideal role model.)
Sorry, OT: Out of sheer curiosity, what makes you say that? I've honestly no idea. I seem to remember controversy in the past where Watson was allegedly the victim of bullying and so on.

Fair enough, unless taxis are prohibitively expensive where you live (like they would be for me). Also Roobee’s job (such as it was) took place in the middle of the day, not at night.
Not defending her but I still see no issue if the school is far away and not in walking distance.

There were a lot of things in that video that made me roll my eyes. I'm the same age as her (if not a few months older) and it just makes me laugh.

Also I'm going on another trip to London next month for about four nights. Wonder if I'll run into her.

I see somebody on her video has commented about an error within the planner. I have however noticed something in the planner ( there are 2 dates saying January 25th in the calendar part before the weekly overviews- it means that the 31st falls on the Thursday whereas it is on the Wednesday, with Thursday being 1st February)

Yeah, the vegan options in Oxbridge catering have improved over the years (used to be laughably bad), but they’re still challenging if you have an ED / disordered eating. Formal Hall is usually three courses.

That's crazy that you like the Muji pens because I've had nothing but hell with them. They always explode, leak etc with me though I did like the tip they were at.
never had that happen to me, I love muji pens. but unfortunately I can't get my hand on them easily as there is no store in my country so I rely on me going on holiday which for personal reasons has not happened in the last couple of years or asking a friend to bring some from their trip ;)

How do you all just know her address and bring up that fact so casually like it isn't a very stalker-y thing to do? 🥴
