Ruby's Instagram is a treasure trove today.

"I AM A PLUVIOPHILE. THAT IS MY IDENTITY."

Today's stories feature Ruby with a "TeuxDeux" tab open. How many random tracker apps and to-do list platforms does she need when she does so little? And how long until Ruby starts another new company with Shopify called "TyooDyoo"?

She's on that Nyotion grind again.

"not sponsored or affiliated. Notion is just an easy way of sharing information!"

No, Ruby. The internet is an easy way of sharing information. Notion is a company that paid you to make several ad videos for them. Even if they didn't pay you for this one, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DECLARE THAT PAST PARTNERSHIP. That's how brand deals work. You know this.

Unsurprisingly, most of this Notion page supposedly meant for "useful" study links is just ads and affiliate links. Why is any of that there? What do shitty teas, phone cases and faux-Victorian clothing have to do with productivity, planning and studying?

Ruby acting like she's being VARRY transparent when shilling products, neglects to mention all the free shit they all keep sending her as payment for advertising, or why she keeps shoving undeclared ads for all of them in all her videos.

Ruby has joined the modern internet and created a Linktree. 'My Favourite Tea Shop' leads to an affiliate link for Bard 'n' Bland. Nowhere is this declared. Nowhere are her brand ties to Bird and Blend declared.

(Pictured: Ruby's reaction to her favourite tea shop's products.)

"I'm a little stuck with my book. Can people send 350 pages of narrative fiction about a girl who is VARRY, VARRY smart and admired by all her teachers but is bullied by all teenagers because they're VARRY JALLOSS of how intelligent she is? It's just that little bit that I'm stuck on."

Ruby needs to do the right thing and call this literary-reference-spouting character Mya Instagram-Followers, since that's who's writing everything for her.

This character is already making too many references for my liking lmao

A character who makes a plethora of literary references would make for great satire, but, unfortunately, I don't think that's what Ruby's aiming for. This book is going to be a disaster.

And Ruby claims she's a very minor character. If a character exists purely to make pop culture references and has no other qualities or characteristics, that's bad enough if the writer has a sense of humour and can actually come up with those references naturally and off the cuff. But good lord, fake bookworm Ruby can't think of any points of reference for anything. It's beyond hilarious and embarrassing.

Ruby, 'aspiring writers' don't constantly ask their instagram followers for help writing their book.

Time for a new identity.

I could understand it if it were a writer reaching out like, "Hey, any neurosurgeons out there who could answer a question I have for a scene I'm writing? I need to fact-check a plot point." Writers don't know everything, so they're going to need to research some stuff or consult with people at times.

But Ruby has put herself on a pedestal as a huge bookworm and a literary scholar, and she can't even think of any very simple references for herself. She's having her community write an entire character for her. At best, it's lazy as fuck, and she's outing herself regularly as a fraud and a bad writer. And it still hasn't occurred to her that if she's struggling to write for a very minor, very disposable one-dimensional character, she should remove the character.

Her agent should be slapping the phone out of her hand to keep her from posting this shit, it's a trainwreck.

Yeah and especially since her agent is advertising her book to publishers by pointing to Ruby's influencer status - won't that be embarassing if potential publishers google "Ruby Granger", find her Insta and see her begging her followers for help with writing her book... doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the book does it

She claims to be a fan of Stephen King, and yet she has never heard of the book Insomnia. I wonder if there is a character in that book who has a tiny bit of trouble nodding off.

I'm baffled by her asking so many questions 'for help' especially as she claims to be a book worm and an English Lit grad...

Also claims to adore classic literature from the 1800s and only reads short stories, yet even the glaringly obvious Rip Van Winkle reference eludes her.

She's all about that Victorian lit, but The Sleeper Awakes by H.G. Wells doesn't occur to her.

Hell, 5 minutes of Googling would give her options and save her the embarrassment of begging fans to do her work for her.

Literary character who sleeps badly:

Spoiler alert: the little bear can't sleep.

P.s. Ruby, just type ''insomnia in literature'' or ''insomniac characters'' if that's what you're looking for.

I'm sorry but she looks so ridiculous sitting in front of that massive screen. Especially in the first screenshot. Petition for Roobee to bring back her laptop and give her mac to charity or someone who achuallee needs it?

Not the Oxford library scented candle

Featuring the same fly carcass that's been there for god knows how long, plus a new addition to the dead fly family:

The state of her house makes my stomach churn.
