Re: Ruby’s food shopping trip, is that Sainsbury’s? The cost of living crisis must be hitting even the Granger household if they’ve had to downgrade from Waitrose. The poor things.
tbf I didn’t see a remedy combucha in any of the waitrose stores I was in soo that might be why

Yet another reminder from our rubooboo that the act of convincing ourselves of the importance of our studies is a form of self-care  (taken from the nyotion page she linked on her insta story)

She's qualified to go back and tell them how to steal money from charities and exploit their fans by selling poor quality planners for too much money
Can you explain the stealing from charities for me please? Not very Hermoine like isvit?

Wait but if an arrow on a toggle list is greyed out in Notion, this means that that toggle is empty. I.e. there's no text under that toggle heading. So this means that Ruby listed "for when I'm feeling burnt out..." and "things I want to do when the academic year ends" but then couldn't think of any points to fill these categories... that is. really sad actually

Honestly, Ruby has done some questionable/odd things lately, but think emailing her school to go back to give a talk sums up absolutely everything wrong with her and all her worst traits rolled into one.

First, it's the inability to let go of her past and clinging onto childhood. She was Head Girl, probably felt a sense of importance at school, especially compared to university where you don't get constant validation and praise, so she's going back to an environment where she got that in bucketloads. She left school in 2018. That's 4 years ago and the fact she hasn't moved on isn't just worrying, it's incredibly weird. I'm sure most of us enjoyed school and have fond memories there, but I for one have no ambition to go back as that chapter of my life has closed and I'm sure teachers would find it weird if after graduating I'm still clinging onto the past and trying to relive my schooldays.

Second, it's the blatant narcissism. She wasn't contacted; she emailed asking to give a talk on Shakespeare. Who does she think she is? What qualifications does she have to give a talk? They've only invited her back out of a combination of pity and because she's a YouTuber/probably has a decent amount of funding and has "status" as an alumni. She knows that and is using her school to boost her ego. She's done a few modules on Shakespeare where she piggybacks off other people's work. That doesn't make you capable of giving a talk, Ruby.

Hoped she would have grown in a gap year and get some more independence, but living at home with mummy and daddy doing everything for her and now going back to school? Could be a worse regression than we thought. Next step is dressing up in one of those checked school summer dresses and playing with a doll's house. Her parents need to seriously intervene.

My hope is that the unfortunate recipients of her talk will be much more mature and knowledgeable than she and will either vote with their feet or not fawn around her, which I believe is what she is expecting. Alongside her very English afternoon tea, with the head, and all the finest China (not vegan). Then she will give the school a sizeable donation. In the form of a larger than life sculpture of herself to go in the main entrance for everyone to marvel over, perhaps not in the way she hopes for (“how the **** did she spend the majority of her education here and still doesn’t know basic English and has given us this mit lump of stone that we can’t avoid and has made it movement activated so that everytime we come into school we hear ‘hello, it’s Ruby?”)

The dead flies on the desk can be explained by laziness. But the moth on her pillow... Oh my God... Her first move is to film the moth and call it beautiful? Even thinking of the power on the wings of the moth made me choked...
You don't understand!!!
The moth is the inspiration for the creation of Lottie Parker's teacher, who is apparently "moth-like" because her lips are pursed into a "would-be smile" (whatever the duck that means)

Certain members of this community consider doing paid work for a charity immoral and they have been spreading rumors of Ruby committing theft all over the internet. It's a pretty ducked up thing to lie about because you can't know it's not actually true unless you have been present here at the time.

It’s not that anyone considers doing paid work for charity immoral, people just object to an influencer who already makes loads money off social media taking payment from a charity to promote it on her platform, when she could literally just do it for free? Like it would have cost her nothing to make a few posts to speak about the charity, and if it was a charity she actually cares about then I don’t understand why she took payment for it.
To say she ‘stole’ money is wrong and inaccurate though, she didn’t steal anything and actually did give the money back, it’s just a bit questionable that she felt it right to accept the money in the first place imo

There is absolutely nothing questionable about doing paid work. Not even for a charity. Not even when people who have money work for money. And the people lying about her stealing are still lying about it to people who don't know any better.

And I can't believe that there has been no consequence for the members who have not only come up with this lie but have continued to spread it to different platforms. This is literally legitimate grounds for legal action.

Mmmm everyone has their own moral compass, but I think most people would consider an influencer charging a charity an undisclosed sum of money just to post a picture of herself holding a candle, looking wistfully into the camera pretty questionable behaviour.
In terms of any legal consequences, if you feel that anyone on this gossip site have broken the law then I invite you to start legal proceedings against the offending members, do what you’ve gotta do my friend!

Last time you said "it’s not that anyone considers doing paid work for charity immoral, " but now you are saying exactly that. Make up your mind.

Kudos for being cool with this community being responsible for setting people up with accusations of theft and anti-semitism for people and giggles. We all have a different moral compass as you say.

I never said that I thought it was immoral, I said it was questionable for a rich influencer to take money off a charity in return for promotion when she could literally just do it for free.
But as I say mate, if you feel that legal action needs to be taken against any of the individuals on this site then please do crack on.

I think the stealing part relates to her taking money under the disguise of using it to create memorials for the holocaust which never happened and thus it wasn't too far a reach to think she simply kept the money for herself.

But fyi this is a gossip site where people are free to talk and speculate

Dude 💀 the flies, the grimy kitchen/espresso maker, tags in her clothes. I feel like she is either performatively forgetful or just blind to things us commoners pay attention to.
I thought procrastination didnt exist in her life? slacker

Personally, I feel it is immoral to take money in exchange for talking about Holocaust commemoration. In my opinion, spreading awareness and information about the Holocaust is extremely important.

Ruby could and should have posted about Holocaust Memorial Day for free. Demanding or accepting financial compensation for talking about Holocaust Memorial Day is weird, imho.

I'm sure there's lots of different opinions about where the moral limits lie when it comes to influencers accepting money from charities in general, and I think that's an interesting debate to have. But when it comes to the Holocaust, I think it should be pretty clear and obvious that trying to profit off of the Holocaust/Holocaust commemoration events/Holocaust commemoration charities is wrong.

Questionable on what grounds if not moral grounds? lmfao

You bet your ass if somebody lied that I steal from work to get me fired I would that. Ruby is an idiot to just take it.
