This looks suspiciously like the gowns worn at Oxbridge. Cosplaying? She's desperate to fill in every moment of her life with extra work. She also loves the validation and knows people will compliment her for being "smart".

Or Hogwarts. Hermione again. This looks suspiciously like the gowns worn at Oxbridge. Cosplaying?
Yeah, I want to see return of dissertation diaries.I want a new video. Sure, she has deadlines coming up in early May… but she’s also spent a total of five days in London (by my reckoning - seeing Andrea, Blakeney’s bday, Anatomy of a Scandal, Downton, and Heartstopper, all on different days) within the past couple of weeks, so it’s not like she’s super commited to just doing her work either.
I'm sorry but what is this gold coat/cloak thing she's wearing?
It was her Head Girl’s gown, she wore it at school. I’m assuming it’s something her school does (or did). This looks suspiciously like the gowns worn at Oxbridge. Cosplaying?
How many muddy puddles is she aiming for that she's covered in shit up to her ankles?
She's so "productive" she has no time for basic hygiene or even taking 20 seconds to wipe off a filthy laptop screen.Would this be the laptop screen that she disinfects every single day? It's the biggest irony that someone whose entire brand is built around 'productivity' manages to live in such a state of disorganised chaos.
Along with the horrifying lack of hygiene, I still can't wrap my head around the sheer stupidity that leads someone to constantly poke and prod at every inch of a laptop screen which has no touchscreen functionality. She's so "productive" she has no time for basic hygiene or even taking 20 seconds to wipe off a filthy laptop screen.
Right?? I sometimes need to "scan" texts with my finger, but usually don't touch the actual screen and if I do by accident, my finger isn't dipped in hummus and dirt to leave those kind of marks..Along with the horrifying lack of hygiene, I still can't wrap my head around the sheer stupidity that leads someone to constantly poke and prod at every inch of a laptop screen which has no touchscreen functionality.
Well of course, coffee is for grown upsRuby: I had coffee for the first time ever today!!!
Also Ruby, literally one second later: I've always hated the taste of coffee.
The math ain't mathing

I think she has so little life experience, it really is. And yes, knowing Ruby she's probably always associated it with being an 'adult' drink, just like alcohol and it's not to be touched. Her life is so boring. I'd like to see her really step outside her comfort zone and be independent during her gap year, but I know it's never happening.why does she act like drinking and liking coffee is a character and life changing realization? Is it because her sense of self relies so superficially on the most shallow things? Is it because the farthest out of her comfort zone she ever gets is drinking a beverage she would usually not drink? Is it because she thinks in binaries all the time and you can either like coffee or tea, dogs or cats, studying or having fun?
We will never know.
I don't recall the coffee bean incident, but I do remember when she made Blakeney swap flavoured teas because Ruby's contained two coffee beans and she thought it would ruin her sleep. That coffee post has got to be an ad, I swear Ruby has talked about not drinking caffeine before so only money would get her to go back on that. Also didn't she eat a coffee bean in a really deranged way in a vlog not so long ago?
She really is her own worst enemy, she puts up so many arbitrary barriers for herself and doesn't even realize how limited her scope and life experience are because of it. I wish she had friends with normal lives and interests who could help her realize that. But she thinks you can either be like her or be her complete opposite, so she'd never make friends with someone like thatI think she has so little life experience, it really is.
