How has she got so many friends in really high places? I can understand the music people and the showbiz-adjacent ones, but she pops up in Tatler with the rich and powerful set as well and being a Met Gala regular. She's a moderately talented pop singer, nothing more.

At least her dad Taika is proud though, if the clips of him dancing and clapping at the side of the stage are anything to go by

I truly don't think she loves him.He is a high profile director with a lot of connections,perfect to advance her acting career.She is a ruthlessly ambitious woman ,we all know that.She asked him to marry her quite soon into the relationship,probably before he had time to figure out what he was getting himself into.Doesn't know his ethnicity, doesn't know his films. Does she know his kids' names?
Wouldn't be at all surprised if it turns out they're just mates who decided to get married to help each other out with good publicity.
Well Taika’s career has been heading down the bleeper for a while, and I don’t see Rita exactly helping with that.
Every time I see a pic of him at yet another of those grotty parties he goes to with the wife, he looks like he’s dying inside.

She strikes me as an “oooh shiny” type, who easily gets distracted with the next interesting / high profile thing. In this round of press for her new single, I saw she was asked if she’d be using her relationship as inspiration for her songs again, to which she replied that taking
inspiration from that is now boring to her, and she wants to instead use other fun things.
It was a typical take on her outlook - has she ever had a relationship last as long as this one? Taika, at least, seems to go in to stuff long term - his partner before Chelsea Winstanley was with him for eight or so years too - though from what Chelsea said recently, he’s as bad as Hora in the sticking-with-just-one-person monogamy department.

He's just finished filming Klara and the Sun, I think. At the same time, he's directing ads and dressing up as a sofa at the Met Gala. Could do with learning a bit of dignity and respect for his work, I think.

I mean, call me stupid, but when there are kids about in your home to look after - regardless of what relation they may be to you, but surely especially if they're your husband's children from his first marriage - you give them routine, stability, and you do actually show some bleeping responsibility for them, even if you didn't birth them. Doubtless it's yet another Hora classic foot-in-mouth comment, but so often she opens her gob and only ever spews out idiocy, for the most part.
PSA everyone: don't leave your kids with Rita Ora....
Edit: I also love that she's described as the "Hot Right Now" singer - a track she was only ever featured on, which is over 10 years old. Says so much about her career.
