Obviously I am not in the market for this, but it is a bit of an eyesore imo, looks like a leisure centre or a cheap hotel . Views of course are amazing, but I would also be worried about erosion and it slipping into the sea![]()

It’s a travesty it was ever allowed to be builtObviously I am not in the market for this, but it is a bit of an eyesore imo, looks like a leisure centre or a cheap hotel . Views of course are amazing, but I would also be worried about erosion and it slipping into the sea
I'd be surprised if that didn't end up being a very exclusive rental. The privacy it allows would be very attractive to HNW individuals![]()

Agreed, with the Eye as staff accommodation.I'd be surprised if that didn't end up being a very exclusive rental. The privacy it allows would be very attractive to HNW individuals
I've also heard of this infamous house.Oh, he finally finished it then? That was one of the saddest Grand Designs ever, he was so obsessed with the house that his wife and kids left.
I drove past this last month and drooled over it! In real life the curved tower part looks amazing and it's in such a good location. Walkable distance to Croyde beach and to the village amenities but located at the quieter end, out of the way when it's peak season. The views are just staggering. Gutted I didn't win the Euromillions because this may well have been my first purchase![]()

I feel I'd be able to move past that whilst gazing at the views from my poolThis was definitely the worst episode of Grand Designs I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe the guy sacrificed his marriage and family unit to pursue this vanity project. I wonder what the relationship with his kids is like now.. and his own mental health, being forced to sell it after everything
Knowing everything that went wrong with the process of building the house I too wouldn’t touch itif I had the money lol.Too many bad vibes.
