I’d happily live in the middle of nowhere. The absolute dream
Years ago it would have been my worst nightmare but now I can't imagine anything nicer and more peaceful.
Part of me would love it.
But the practicalities turn me off - and I say that as someone who was stuck on Shetland for an extra 4 days with no spare pants due to bad weather.

I think you'd have trouble getting trees to grow there - too windy. I have enough trouble here getting a hedge going and I'm north coast of mainland Scotland. It's taken me about four years to get it to around 2ft tall!
