The oversaturation of photos by estate agents is so annoying! I blame instagram, everything now has to have a bloody filter on.

The fisheye lens thing as well, I saw one house the other week where they'd done that in the kitchen, the washing machine was about 4ft wide, looked ridiculous.

Don't want to brag (much) but I had that actual bedding 💅 Despite my promising start, I have to work for a living now. How the mighty have fallen, etc
I cannot tell you how jealous teenage me is!

As to litter trays, kitchen or lounge (basically anywhere near food) definitely worse. tbh if I was selling my house I'd probably just move it out of shot whatever room it was in while the agent was taking photos

Someone I know has their litter tray in a cupboard under the stairs (catflap in the door) as their cat likes his privacy 😂😂😂

This one's been on Rightmove for about a year. Someone should tell the valuers that pretentious decor doesn't really make up for a lack of garden. Despite them trying to make a garden out of the driveway.
Can you imagine trying to sit out there and relax?! You'd think they would at least put some trellis up or something to create a bit of privacy.

Pepperpot Castle, what a perfect name for it!

If anyone fancies a slightly bigger castle (and a bit of a project), this is back up for sale nearish me after the sale agreed last year fell through.

Daft.ie is the Irish version of Rightmove. My brother and SIL live in Co Kerry (SIL is from there) It's not even the houses themselves, but the locations and the scenery are amazing.

“Requiring modernisation” 😂😅😂
Star Lane really isn't somewhere you'd want to live. There is a large traveller site there, and a lot of anti social behaviour.

Google streetview of the house below shows that 2 years ago they were lived in and had no damage. I'd say this is deliberate vandalism, whether by previous tenants or others.

I always feel a bit sad when I see a house like that...as in how has it ended up in such a state? At some point it would have been someone's family home (albeit judging by the Pierrot wallpaper probably not since the 1980s!)

Off topic but did anyone else who grew up in the 80s REALLY want (but never get) a Pierrot duvet cover etc?! :) Ah memories... Picture below of my dream bedroom age 14 😂😂😂

This was definitely the worst episode of Grand Designs I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe the guy sacrificed his marriage and family unit to pursue this vanity project. I wonder what the relationship with his kids is like now.. and his own mental health, being forced to sell it after everything 🤯

Knowing everything that went wrong with the process of building the house I too wouldn’t touch it if I had the money lol. Too many bad vibes.
