I think it's probably a family with kids getting bedrooms and parent(s) having to sleep in the lounge.
My friend had to do this years ago when her husband left her. the kids got 1 room each, the au pair another room and she got the sofa in the lounge.

I know, right? As someone who religiously watched every episode of House Doctor, it pains me to guess how much money they'll lose selling it like that and how long it may take. I was making a list in my head whilst awake in the night of all the jobs I'd do before relisting it (paint the green and purple walls white, get a storage unit and put about half the furniture and the off season clothes in it, swap the kitchen bed for a sofa bed temporarily, straighten the wonky sofa, move the clothes to the bedroom, etc etc). I understand they're probably selling due to lack of space but there's so much they could do to speed the process along and make a bit more cash out of it

Which one, there's a "homely" kitchen and then there's a massive catering kitchen with all the stainless steel and the massive extraction!

That house screams divorced dad who spent part of the proceeds from the sale of the marital home on all the horror memorabilia his Ex wife refused to let him buy when they were together 😂😂

I'll predict he's likely to remain single for quite a while though, any Tinder dates get a look at that bedroom and the lifesize Michael Myers and he won't see them for dust!
