Wow ! English houses are so expensive.
mine is very similar to that one but with more glass and two storeys so I can see the sea. It would cost about a third of that even with my land included.
Ibbotson are great architects. I used an Irish one who has now abandoned architecture and gone off on a conspiracy theory tangent ... I‘ve always been a nutter magnet 😂

This is straight out of a Jane Austen novel - apart from the heated swimming pool inside a barn built in 1705, but I even love the way that's been done. Just imagining the cast of Pride and Prejudice swanning around the place!

How is that "only" £1.6 million? That's the same or not a lot more than a nice, but not very remarkable large family home in some places.

Chalfont St Giles is in the heart of Bucks and is expensive for an expensive county. Move that house 100 miles north and it'd be a million and nothing more!

Looks very fresh and clean though, with all that pristine cream carpet and the bathroom is fairly modern. I like all the swish curtain tracks.
