To be fair I’m wearing maternity knickers right now - I gave birth yesterday and am finding them a lot more comfortable! (Sorry tmi!) 😅

Can’t say I envy her perfect life at all. Day upon day of disordered, miserable eating, obsessive unhealthy weaning schedule for her son, never goes anywhere except Four Seasons Hampshire (gifted).

She is looking so gaunt - I’m not trying to body shame her here but she’s meant to be advising people on a healthy balanced eating routine? I actually wince at the neck and shoulders on a lot of her images. She may well be predisposed to be of slight build but she just looks so drawn.
And yes - so busy but time to set up the phone to film herself during all of it. When I’m flat out I’m lucky if I remember to brush my hair or have a wee before I leave the house. 😳
It’s not even body shaming. She looks gaunt and aged beyond her time and just not good unfortunately. I wouldn’t take advice from her about anything health. At all.

Also notice she tagged a photographer in her post. Can you imagine the conversation at her newborn photo shoot saying to her ‘can you get a photo of me with this tommee tippee bottle so I can use it for an ad in a few weeks?!’ Her grid post about it was ok but her story was so rushed it kind of seemed like she was cut off I was expecting another story but nope!

Also edited to add - I don’t think that these kinds of posts ever achieve anything whether they are well intentioned or not. If someone posts about breastfeeding, people in the comments will be like ‘not everyone can breastfeed and shouldn’t be made to feel bad because they can’t’. If someone posts about using formula then in the comments it will be ‘breastfeeding is nutritionally better’ And the argument goes on and on.
I agree. She’s tried to strike a balance in the caption and reaching out but either be transparent about your journey or not. I got an element of smugness that she Seemingly isn’t using formula (similar to London Paleo Girl) - if it genuinely doesn’t matter then why feel the need to drop hints? I remember Deliciously Ella having quite a lot of flack over this issue too. I admired her honesty on Elizabeth Day’s How to Fail podcast!

There will be an ad in the next few weeks definitely! Did anyone see the way she was shoving eggy bread in his mouth on her stories tonight!

I genuinely think she is one of those people who doesn’t understand that babies will be babies and they don’t just behave like mini adults. Everything just seems so forced with her, I’m not convinced she enjoys being a Mummy at all :(

How is that even allowed?! I’d be fuming if I had co-wrote a book and my name wasn’t even on it! Typical of Rhiannon though but how can she think that’s ok!

I doubt she is eating any extra calories at all, she is always going for walks and working out aswell. All that is brilliant as long as you are eating enough to sustain it. She has just released an ebook on sports nutrition and claims to be a specialist in pre and post natal nutrition too. She clearly doesn’t practice what she preaches and I don’t think anyone should be following her example.

Did she really just feel the need to justify her eating one tiny chocolate egg over the concern that the baby will get a sweet tooth? She makes it sound like this kid would be devouring 2kg of dairy milk each day if she dared touch another one.

The irony of how the next post mentions eating disorder week too  maybe I’m a greedy bastard but it’s one tiny egg, her then needing to explain why she’s eaten it (“nobody is perfect”) seems bordering on disordered eating to me.
We’ve been saying this on the thread for a while, her eating does seem very disordered - everything is measured

There was utter uproar on The Positive Birth Company’s post about fed is best, I honestly can’t understand why some people get their knickers in a twist!

I think Rhi is trying to project an earth mother image with the breastfeeding, especially as her birth didn’t go to plan. I was honestly expecting her to be bragging about having a 10 minute Labour with zero pain relief, probably in the middle of a forest or something 😂 so maybe that’s why she is overcompensating?

I also find her admission about baking odd (thouhh maybe I’m jealous, as the mother of a newborn Ibadekt have time to take a shower let alone bake 😂🙀)
Jesus I went and read a few of the comments on the PBC post-yikes! Really got some peoples back up! Glad she didn’t take it down though, some people were just going crazy!!

I think giving the small amounts of info Rhiannon has given about her birth I really think she could have done with some time offjust to get over things-it did sound like a bad birth. I had a straight forward, all be it very long birth, but was still pretty traumatised by it!’

The bake she’s showcasing is from a mindful chef recipe box...no doubt gifted. So not one of her recipes, nor has she had to chop/prepare etc just bing it in a dish....which is fine especially with a new baby, but don’t make out you’re some sort of super mother

She’s managed to turn a global discussion about racism into the name announcement of her child!

And all the comments are about how beautiful she is or how cute he is or about how lovely his name is.
By adding in the element about BLM as an afterthought of sorts but making it all about her, she's showed that she 100% doesn't actually give a sh*t about the subject but just wants to be seen to be.

It’s a shame she’s so smug and self righteous as I do really like her podcast. Out of all the instagrammers I follow she seems to be the most arrogant of the lot
