We had the barber shop but they were monsters I think ?? I had a Tiny Tears but I left her near the electric fire and her face melted

Random toys I remember from late 80s and early 90s : Oh Penny - I had the camper van , mansion and shopping mall but looked the brand up online a few years ago and there were other things like an ice cream parlour.
I also had a Chimney Pot House , Disney airport , Playmobile cafe , cabbage patch figures not the big dolls , Micro Machines , Sylvanians and many many Thomas the Tank trains .
Also does anyone remember a magazine which was out around 1990 where you got a blonde haired doll then a different career outfit for her one week it would be a ballerina the next a horse rider ?
I absolutely loved the toys of my childhood and have such nostalgia for them if I ever won the lottery I would spend a lot on eBay replacing everything I had that either got broken or thrown out .

I was about 28 or something when he bought it for me, I'm single and childless and it's broadly on display in my flat. It makes me smile every time i see it despire the fact it goes with absolutely nothing else I own! 😂😂 every time I'm in a charity shop I have a look for the missing parts - i definitely would love to build it back to a full set.

The first time my nephew saw it in my cupboard he was very confused as to why he wasn't allowed to play with it! 😂

That's what I wanted but as a child of the mid 70s, the Sindy House retailed at approx £100 in 1982ish! My mum said that it was rubbish and made of plastic and adapted a white wooden bookcase instead!?

The two girls who lived in the larger houses over the road owned a Sindy house though.

The tent was inflatable as was the matching airbed/sleeping bag combo - my Sindys couldn't even fit into it? I have a feeling that the BBQ may have been a separate purchase? I always wanted the swimming pool but as ever it was £££.

I bought a snide Tamogotchi from a shop in Ramsgate but had to give it to my mum to look after. It was much more demanding than my gerbils were!

I owned Sindy's bed, wardrobe, toilet, bath, basin and shower (which I ruined by sharpening pencils in it). Also the horse, tent and caravan. Actually, I had quite a lot didn't I?

Boys toys; I still have my original Millenium Falcon that I had as a kid around 1982 (no, the toy wasn't from 1977 when Star Wars came out).

It must be worth... oh... about £30...

After a little discussion on the Christmas thread and toys we never got that we asked for, I remembered this beauty. I asked for it several times and never got it. As an adult I appreciate why it never saw the light of day in our house 🤣

Ah, that might be a later addition then? The Sindy years for me were probably 1981-5? I lost the mattress for my Sindy bed so she and my brother's Action Man had to rough it.

I had a dream phone! I remember going to argos to buy it with my birthday money! My mum in all her wisdom, got rid of it when I moved out 🙄 but I ended up buying another on ebay a few years ago.

I actually just got it out to take to my mum's tonight - it is still fun as adults & my eldest niece is old enough to understand the concept & rules and she loves playing dream phone with us too 🤣

I was a kid in the '80s so it was all Action Force, M.A.S.K, Transformers and He-Man. Oh, and The Centurions which were awesome!
