Does anyone remember Quints from the early 90s? I loved them and my best friend at the time had them too. When I ask around though, not many remember them. I don't think they were ever 'huge'

I only know them as I've seen them for sale on eBay.

My sister (6 years old) whinged so much when I played with her Play-Doh Barbers Shop, that my mum bought me my own one...for my 16th birthday

I'm not sure it was considered a toy exactly but these threads can't go without mentioning that Mr Frosty slushy maker was overhyped cack.

I still remember the tune to the advert.. mr frosty is such fun, he makes drinks for everyone...

I never had one though nor any of my friends. Parents must've known it was overpriced and we'd get bored of it in 2 seconds

I also had this...once you solved it a few times you could do it in seconds. A moral victory for a child who could do eff all with a Rubik's cube.

My husband had a Grifter. He said that's what the cool kids had. He said it weighed an absolute ton.

My cousin fell off my Tomahawk and the pedal went into the top of her thigh. Hospital visit for her and a messy bloody pedal on my bike. Guess what I was more concerned about?

I grow up in the 80s and the one toy i always wanted was a cabbage patch doll, bit I never got one
My mum said she was in a charity shop the other day and saw one in its box she was going to pick it up for me until she saw it was about £30 I was devastated all over again
