I blame everyone for this. The Joshs, Mollys, Tonyas, AllEars, and the rest of them with their “one little hack.” The best part of the Disney experience was discovering things on your own. But with social media, everything had to put a blast. Like the beignets at French Quarter. That was a hidden secret, but then everyone had to talk about it. Now there are lines wrapping through the quick service and resort guests can’t use the boats.

I just had a staycation at POR and it was packed with people. You couldn’t use the main pool, the food court was packed, and there was even a 20 person birthday/pool party at the back pool in Alligator Bayou. This nice quiet resort was inundated with days guests. I couldn’t even take a boat to DS because the line wrapped all the way to the lobby. I don’t like this as local AP, but something had to give.
I agree. The internet made it harder to enjoy the little things at Disney because too many people wanted to feel special by giving away all that was lesser known and making those items, activities or places too popular - suddenly Disney's raising prices, blocking off areas for parties, removing things that became a problem. Disney's heart turned colder as the internet got hotter.

My stomach will flip-flop when i see any one of these social media people broadcasting a hidden gem because you know what follows.

Totally agree. And before the vloggers, back when AllEars was just a web site, there were the DIS-ers. I was one of them at the time, and we did crazy stuff like passing mini-fridges between ourselves at the value resorts for years until Disney finally got sick of storing them at the bell desk in between reservations, so they just put a mini-fridge in every room. It's one of the rare examples of a small group ruining things for a larger group, but making things better for everybody overall, lol.

What’s interesting to me is not that people are blaming RTV1 for the clamp down on things, but the framing. They want to slap the “evil” label on him. It’s more akin to him just being self-centered on his own experience than realizing how his actions would impact others.

Josh did not create the idea that one could watch the fireworks from the emergency stairs on the outside of the Contemporary, but he did broadcast it and encourage too many others to do it too. When you fill up a stairwell with people watching fireworks, it no longer becomes an emergency exit, but a traffic jam and potential hazard.

Josh also was far from the first to broadcast using Disney transportation to get out of Disney Springs and back to the resorts, but he was one who broadcast it and kept telling people, “you can do this too! Park for free at DS, then take the bus where you want to go.” That hit Disney in many ways. It filled up buses more, made it easier for outsiders to pool hop to Disney pools that are not monitored for folks staying at the resort, and created a security risk at the resorts.

But Josh is also that guy who encourages people to enter areas of Disney resort lobbies where outsiders have no place being. During the holidays, he’s known for going up the lobby steps to get a top-down view of the tree and saying, “...and you can do this too!” Having stayed in one of those rooms along the lobby, I’ll tell you the noise from the lobby is bad already - the last thing they need is strangers with no business being there walking around those halls. Ditto for Animal Kingdom Lodge.

While I don’t blame Josh for the clampdown, that was caused by many people participating in the activities, he did encourage the behavior without considering what it would do to paying resort guests or safety.
Well said - it's not Josh's fault for bending the rules, it's Josh's fault for broadcasting that he was bending the rules, showing other people how to do it, and saying it was okay to do. And not just Josh, obviously, but he is one of the larger channels. Living in DIZ, for example, definitely played a large role in DAS Pass reform; especially for such a small channel.

The good ol' streamer mute at the guard shack.
Streamer mute paired with putting the phone face down, so security wouldn't know he was streaming or recording. Because they're "rule followers."

Josh “I had to lay off Coke Zero because it was upsetting my stomach. I’m going back to regular coke for now while I test and see if it was the Coke Zero.”

What in the actual hell is wrong with this man. He is creative.

A few minutes later…

Josh “…our bedroom is right by the main living area… Steph is so nice she will turn in the fan if Liam is sleeping to drown out the noise in the main living area.”

Who refers to their own house as ‘the main living area’? It’s like he’s living in a hotel. Weird. 😂

Wasn’t it Tonya too that abused of the DAS pass at some points?
I hadn't heard this. What was her story?

Ah - he's doing an elimination diet. It's easier for him than most people, though, because he only eats, like, 5 things. Coke, burgers, fries, pizza, chocolate chip cookies.

Our bedroom = Stef's bedroom
Main living area = Stef's part of the house
My office = Josh's part of the house

I dont know all the full story but she had the DAS pass pre and a little after post covid and with the autism 2024 changes she got kicked off of it

And then i did some research on her thread here on tattle and found that
Thank you for that! I didn't realize Tonya had her own page here. That definitely sounds like she was also abusing the DAS Pass.

Does that person knows she can text in chat without sending a superchat?
She's the one with the daughter who both dress up in some matching outfit.
No wonder they always chat with her and let her hang out with them in the parks, if she sends a lot of SuperChats.

Josh and Jenna are both over-sensitive, to put it nicely.
Josh eats like crap, burgers, fries, cookies, tons of fats, sugars, sodium, then when making one small change for the better for his body his belly balks and he's back to the junk. Wouldn't a better, safer replacement have been water? I know, it's so hard to find and so expensive (free, unless you're picky).

Starting to chew through Whimsy Wed w/ Jenna and parents at EPCOT today. Seems she totally missed the trees in the middle planter area up front are gone today, (she starts the stream by SSE) but Ears to the PayPal saw it. This will please Josh since the trees were a point of contention for him.

Chewing through Day 2 of the boat trip. Jenna pronounces Nassau, Nasqua. Dale eats the same stuff as always: Smoked salmon, red onion, quac, bacon, egg. The beach is too dirty and sandy for them, so the pool it is. The use of the word "spice" ~234 times.

Quote of the vlog: Dale "I lost my bread"

I apologize for the sceenshot, but they're Christians.

Sorry to hear the beach was too sandy, maybe next time they should just hang out on a pier.

Is that the special, non-ouchie-tummies ice cream? That may or may not be dairy-free, but that doesn't matter, because soft serve in any form (dairy-free or regular) doesn't give Jenna ouchie tummies? Science is very mysterious.

But I have to give her credit for cranking out two vlogs this week. That's 2 more cruise vlogs than Josh has managed to put out in the past 6 months.

Disney cruise line and Disney media not cuttin it enough these days. Gotta make some good impressions since we're going lower and lower on the totem pole.

So…🤔 what about your tummies princess? Yeah, aight’. I’m having trouble keeping up with Jenna’s land and sea dietary package.
