Yes but how long does it last?
Won't be long till the bank comes knocking on the door and you're forced to foreclose. This is just a huge financial mistake that's short term and destined to end up in huge amounts of debts and eventually having the bank seize your property.

Not just the replica industry but the authentic designer brands too... they all somehow turned into fast fashion. Instagram is the main reason for this and there's constantly a new "it bag" every few months or so.
Everywhere I look I see someone with a designer bag but 5-10 years ago I barely saw any and it was mostly the usual MK, Kate Spade, Coach.... and only a few people would be seen with high tier luxury brands. These days even kids in High School are somehow able to get a PSM (worth over $2k) among many other things. Unpopular opinion: but I am starting to not care for or want to spend money on luxury bags if it's something everyone and their grandma has... it just doesn't feel special anymore (at least to me). I am starting to believe that high-end designer bags will soon no longer be a symbol of wealth or luxury. I honestly rather spend the money towards buying stocks, crypto, real estate.... and turning money into more money rather than buying things that are pretty much common and nothing exclusive/special these days.
I agree, they do thrive, but they also keep increasing their prices so the exclusivity remains. Chanel’s classic flap has increased massively over the years, which ultimately excludes people who can’t afford the new price. I do agree with you in sense that, if everyone and their dog had a certain bag it puts me off, (such as the LV neverfull - sorry if people here have it!), it put me off a little, so I went for a similar bag style, but a different brand - the YSL tote.

but I’m also really easily influenced 😂😭 I try not to invest in new “it” bags or new trends and stick with the classics that never go out of style :)

Chanel and Hermes are def more exclusive, I have seen a few people with Chanel flaps but they mostly rich international (mostly Asian) students (I live in a uni town). LV, Prada and Gucci are so common these days. I didn't notice it before but I def noticed it now especially when our government started handing out thousands (minimum $5-8k/person) to literally EVERYone. Not sure if coincidence or not...

Damn what government is this? 😂 I totally get you, I see LV bags often, Gucci bags allllll the time. I don’t see Chanel bags out in the wild much, and I’ve only seen a Hermes birkin once really. The constant price increases keep Chanel and Hermes exclusive however. Although LV seems to be doing price increases so frequently these days

Don't people have to pay that back with higher taxes?
That money doesn't get paid back it's literally a government handout. They will tax it but it won't be as much nor exceed the amount they gave everyone (maybe 10% of it back). Also in Canada you don't have to pay taxes unless you earn over $12k for the year (so as along as you don't take more then 6 of those payments you don't have to pay any of it back unless you worked). The government even gave a separate funding for Grade 12 and university students (regardless of whether they had a job/income or not). So a lot of those young girls flexing bags don't have to pay it back.

😱 I’m moving!! Wow that’s so generous, but yeah it probably does explain all the designer bags lately 😂
The government literally buying all these young girls/women designer bags LOL

The vitriol in this thread against women who chose to exchange sex for cash, is worse than anyone buying a fake bag.

What awful language from some of the posters regarding sex workers, they use trashy language to try to bring these women down. I know whose company I would rather be in.

Imagine having a real luxury handbag or a cartier bracelet or two but a brain and mouth full of filthy words about what women chose to do for a living. Kind of takes the shine off the hardware for me!

Takes all kinds i suppose. Now can anyone recommend a good fake Chanel flap please?

I've read this whole thread whilst struggling with insomnia, I'm shocked to hear the murky side of fake designer goods I never knew the links there! Same with fake men's watches I guess!

I'm not though, that was sarcasm. I dont need fake anything in my life.
OK. But for clarification I didn’t see anyone saying anything nasty about women who chose sex work. I for one wholly respect the game. It’s not a life I would choose for myself but sex is sex it’s something that most people do and if you find yourself in a position that you need to use it to make money or you’re comfortable with selling it then you do you. What I don’t like though is girls who do some mad extreme tit for extra pounds (I know most of you know what I’m talking about) and go stunt on Instagram without revealing the truth as to where they get the funds from and leave young girls perplexed as to why they are not living the same life. And it’s that culture that feeds into the fake/replica market.

I am part of rep ladies and I got a Gucci soho which I use constantly as it’s perfect size and colour but I think it’s very obvious it’s fake.
also got a LV pochette metis and use it all the time in the summer and I love it and think it’s well Made and nobody ever notices it’s rep

Had a look on rep ladies, thanks for recommending. I have a mix of real and rep items, reps are mostly items I don’t think will age well / retain value. There’s minimal difference between some of them these days honestly, the work is spectacular if you can find good suppliers. I have the real Pravda Galleria Saffiano medium in black that’s real and the same in the nude that’s a rep and the quality of the hardware is really the only tell. I wasn’t sure how well nude would hold up using day to day, with denim etc, but I’ve only cleaned and conditioned a few times and it’s hardly needed it. If the rep was poorer quality I’d prob replace with the real one now but don’t feel the need to.
Anyone have any planned purchased atm?

I want to buy some louis vuitton reps. I am new to this and have briefly read through the thread and checked out rep ladies on reddit... But can't get my head around how it all works? Do I just have to get in contact with all the trusted sellers? Could anybody recommend a seller for LV reps?
