It's such a turn off when she gets passive aggressive about stuff he insists on filming/getting paid to do on her own.

If she only knew how little maternity leave covers, when I was on mine it was less than what I had to pay for my health insurance for the weeks I was on the leave, and I only got 6 weeks. This chick has money whether she works or not, unlike most people.

I dont know what we are all meant to say to that- if anything. No one asked for constant updates etc. Social media is her job. Its bought her an amazing life. Its like she is blaming her “audience” and a case of ooh it might not be the same when im back. If it’s not its not. I mean i enjoy her stuff but if shes not around then so be it.

She has this very new and intense shift in her life and she was still pushing the "Renee living her best life" video montage in her uploads. Well reality came knocking on the door. I get that she's probably exhausted and delirious/sleep deprived as new parents are ( also it just gets harder as the baby gets little older in this time), just wish she went at it more realistically versus "let me film this sugar coated best life ever" thing that she now suddenly calls fake.

And I get it, as a new parent I had to find time to shower of all things (at midnight and random times) but forget gym... being a human was an hour by hour battle it seems. She needs to live a normal life that her kid and their combined schedule dictates and not what she wants to post online to look cute. She can always get a regular job like everyone else if this isn't working for her. Like don't yell at your audience that you lost your content and got your three days of edits that nobody asked for deleted, sounds like a hot headed complaint.

Their relationship is strange (Renee and Zander), there's something off about him, kind of semi-controlling, things also seemed to move very fast for them.

She can still do 1 video a week and not plan every single detail. I think that what she shows in her videos is nothing like her real life. That's why it takes so much energy and effort to put on the whole show. Too bad for her.

Renee always seems like a hot mess to me. She makes all these videos about getting your tit together and planning your life, etc but she has always seems like she has far from got her tit together. She seems like a nice girl and completely harmless, but how can she make a living off these videos when it's evident she's a mess!

Yeah, I just posted on guru gossip a bit of a rant about all of the things that have been mentioned in this thread!

She has such high pressure / high expectations on herself and it seems like she's in a constant battle with herself about not only what / when / how often she posts videos, but also what she eats, wears, puts on her face, works out — everything.

I don't think it's healthy to have to completely reinvent yourself every five minutes, and hopefully she can work on that.

But I just wish she could post videos that are not journals of her trying (unsuccessfully) to work everything out and constantly explaining herself. I want to see a simple video of a morning routine where she simply says "I've been enjoying x, y and z lately" instead of going on a rant about what she used to do and how it's now unthinkable, or how this new thing is so life-changing, etc. Or posted a clothing haul without saying she is completely redoing her style / wardrobe! I like her cozy content, apartment tours and aesthetic — it's my guilty pleasure haha.

That was a good post and I agree with everything you're saying. If she just filmed her days/life and whatever it is, it would be enjoyable to watch and probably a bit easier for her to manage, she has a hard time going with the flow and sets up these weird rules for herself then gets annoyed at them every single time lol.

Couldn't even watch the whole video. You can feel her distress.. why put so much pressure on herself? Being a new mum is hard work!! isn't that obvious to everyone else? did she really believe the tiktok moms and their picture perfect life? Babies are messy, thay are a real responsibility, they are not just a video prop like you said @Callan .
Poor girl, she needs to relax for a bit and get off social media like for real..

Have just watched it. So i went between pangs of feeling sorry for her and worry that the nicu ptsd will hit her soon enough (I honestly feel i got this after an 8 week neonatal stay with my 30 weeker but not till a couple of yrs later) to thinking wtf. Do you want to do this or not because we are all more confused than you say you are. You need the money and freebies that’s why you didnt take 10 weeks. And thats fine but just say
Baby is obviously more alert and awake more now. Not just a case of a feed then he sleeps. That makes it so much harder. We all said it. The nicu time was a false time. Not real life. This THIS… is real life with a baby.

I might be a total witch to say this, but... a human baby is not an another Amazon parcel or an another piece of her "perfect" instagram life.

She's a good person deep inside (I think) but so superficial. She wants to show off this unattainable lifestyle but it's so against what she really wants.

Hence the whole move to NY and the endless appartement decoration videos.. in the end she completely lost herself in the process and hated every second of it. Now the perfect boyfriend and the perfect appartement in Florida, a slim body just after giving birth. Completely losing herself again and having a meltdown over it all. She needs to just stop with the expectations of a perfect instagram life and just live the reality of her life.
