I am just new to Reddit . As a reddit regular can you point me in the direction of any boards with stories of people’s lucky escapes / near misses e.g missing a plane on Sep 11th. I love reading those kind of stories .I find this so strange, I’ve never thought reddit was hard to use! If I want to learn about anything, take up a new hobby or even check the news I do it all on Reddit.
U/ is a link to a user, r/ is a subreddit so like a board for a specific topic.
Those are the main ones!
I guess ' toxic stuff' would depend on your personal and political views. I follow a couple of main subs like AmITheAsshole (really recommend that one) and relationship advice. Its within the comments esp the top ones that have a thousand likes and up, that have some real offensive toxic tit thats spread around. A heck load of Misogny, Racism, Fatphobia and Body Shaming - for me all of that is pretty toxic. I've encountered so many comments on even neutral subs that are very hateful towards women.A few posters have mentioned ‘toxic stuff’ ... what kind of stuff? I always find it quite hard to use unless I’m looking for something really specific.

I wonder in some way if thats because such a high percentage of Reddit users are men![]()
