I think she's deferred him. For selfish reasons entirely!
Sadly, I think you're probably right.
It's so sad for Raffy. He seems so curious about the world and ready to learn, and instead of doing all that with his peers he's being dragged around on freebie PR trips as a prop ☹

While his peers are learning to read actual books he’s given baby books with one word and a picture on the page. She is stunting his development
It's alright, in 3 years he will "teach himself" to read, just like Freya miraculously taught herself to "swim".

Didn't our local tattler say they were both at school?
In the double buggy but both there? I can't remember now.

They are marketed as pre-school first word format books. So of course Becky took her school age son out of school AGAIN to attend.

And no Becky, pre-school cooking isn’t making slop in the early hours of the morning before school.

I’m sure she mentioned at the end of August/beginning of September about having two at school, but I can’t find it now, maybe it was in stories.

I have a local friend and yes, both kids are seen (usually in the double buggy) on the school run, in uniform.

No, he's in Reception. He was 4 last July (R posted reels of a massive joint party in the garden with a circus theme) so will be 5 in 2026. As with Freya 2 years ago, he doesn't legally have to be in school at this point in the school year. She can therefore take him out without fines. She seems to get round the holiday fines for Freya (who IS meant to be in school) by calling it flexi-schooling.

There’s no way she would defer Waffy’s reception entry, she can’t cope with having one of her children at home full time. Instead she just uses school as childcare as and when she needs it

She will continue doing this until he’s legally required to attend school full-time and she starts facing fines. I'm not sure she can get flexi-schooling approved for both children. I thought the whole reason Freya was allowed flexi-schooling was because she was considered "sensitive" and alluded to specific difficulties. So if she can't get flexi-schooling for both kids, then she might switch to "world schooling" instead.

This whole “comment x and I’ll send you the details” thing that influencers do really irks me. It couldn’t be more obvious that they just care about engagement. It’s transactional and shows they don’t give a crap about their followers.

It’s not ‘The long way to school’ Becky, it’s the opposite direction.

‘Perfect for upcoming dark school runs’
They live a 10 minute walk (probably faster when being pushed in a buggy by a power walker), school starts at 8:45 and finishes at 3:15pm, she doesn’t have to have any dark school runs if she didn’t walk in the opposite direction.

I can’t wait until they are older, struggle with mornings and can’t be dragged around for hours before school for the lunatic mother’s walks.

What time do they all go to bed?!

At least they are colourful- and the correct size. The kids look normal for once. (Apart from they have both been told to point to the clever rechargeable torch on the sleeve for the photo! )

Like heck she's been looking for insulated jackets. She normally couldn't care less about them being warm. We have had Frah Frah running about with no coat mid January whilst Waffers is shoe and sockless as he is hurtled along in the buggy.

If she was looking for insulated jackets for them, she would do as amuone else would and take them shopping, try coats on and come home with 2 coats.
