It's terribly terribly sad. Just when I think surely she can't shock me any further she goes and does just that 😒 I don't understand her parents, his parents or the school for allowing all this to happen.

All I can think with the school is that she threatened to withdraw them and the teachers thought some school contact was better than none. The grandparents are complicit and let grabs marry her groomer. I don’t understand how social services aren’t involved though.

I don’t think the school would do that - the absences affect their attendance figures so it would be better for the school to Grabby to deregister Bentos. It will also affect the other children in the class having a child dip in and out so often. I wonder if the flexi school agreement is now more than one day?

The fact that they've already been there somehow makes it worse in my opinion. She really puts herself first doesn't she?
I can't believe they've gone on 2 holidays in the 3 weeks of school. It's just beyond ridiculous. And selfish! The teacher probably has to spend time catching Freya up, or at least making sure she doesn't drop behind.
And we know she has booked Turks and Caicos (probably in October) and we now also know that there are some undisclosed trips from time to time (like the Mexico resort). They don't stand a chance.

Whoever said in an earlier comment that it is child neglect wrapped in middle class twattery is 100% correct. Any poor child that would miss so much would be on socials radar, but somehow because they are off gallivanting in luxury resorts it's ok?

Maybe she has actually de registered them? Do we know if they started back after the summer? For someone who posts her kids non-stop she’s always been unusually reticent about posting first day of school pics.

She’s very selfish, but I don’t think social services would have any real concerns. Realistically, in many European countries, Raffy wouldn’t be starting formal education for another couple of years at least.

I think her reasons for not giving them the routine and experience of school are misguided, and I think it will come back to bite her on the bum when she’s dealing with two entitled and unmanageable teens, whose privacy she sold when they were too young to consent, but I can’t get wound up about it any more.

The biggest issue the kids have is that their mother is very immature, has barely any experience of real life, and their father groomed her from a young age and seems very controlling. Not an amazing blueprint for them to follow. Would be fascinating to fast forward twenty years and see what kind of relationships they both end up in.

Having said that, the bleakness of that video of two school age kids being pushed around a deserted resort in a twin buggy, is quite something.

My son is the same age as Raffers and just started reception - he’s been everyday!! I am amazed at how much he had learned in such a short space of time. I also never appreciated the social aspect of learning - for instance, I could never really engage him in trying to write his name but one week with a teacher and others learning the same thing, he’s all over it. I know some kids struggle with a school environment but easy to overlook the fun and progress kids can have and make learning with their peers.

How do they afford this?
I know they spend nothing on the house and clothes etc all seem to be second/third hand but the general cost of living must surely impact them?
Neither of them appear to work and i know being a landlord no longer brings in the kind of income it used to. We are selling a property because its no longer worth our while renting it out.

Grabby and the P eado seem to have a never ending pot of holiday funds

What I struggle to understand is that both Rebecca and Ben benefited from the privilege of a strong education – both attended university, which has given them a foundation for a secure and comfortable lifestyle.

So how can they justify making a decision that denies their children the same opportunities?

Education is not just about academic content – it’s about learning routine, consistency, discipline, and resilience, all of which are essential for success in both the professional and academic world. The reality is that very few people can sustain a lifelong career “faffing around the world” as content creators.

Children need the structure of school. Let them gain an education, and when they’re old enough, they can choose for themselves whether the academic path is right for them.

Without that grounding, how will they ever be able to prepare for qualifications, manage the demands of a career, or step into adulthood responsibly, if they’ve never learned to cope with more than two or three days of structured activity a week?

What I don’t understand is why the need for a double buggy when all they are doing is hanging out in a resort? I can kind of get Grabby’s need for it when they are stomping around a city or something so she can get her gazillion steps in (not that that makes it excusable really) but a buggy for what? To push the FRKs from the restaurant to the Montessori influenced 🙄 kid care facility? Isn’t she EMBARRASSED?! Why show it at all?! It’s absolutely bizarre

I just don't get WHY they are denying the FRKs an education. They only interact with children that are related to them. How will they ever make friends? They've had parties, with I'm assuming class mates/NCT mates {wondering who they are}... but I wonder if parents say yes just out of curiosity 😉. You can't tell me no one knows about them and the whole tit show etc.

How will they'll ever get any qualifications? We know that they'll eventually join the 'family business' at some stage but you still need the knowledge of what's what don't you.

World schooling shouldn't have been a thing. Funny the influencers jumped on that bandwagon when they realised they could gain freebies holidays 🤔 The Sterlings version of 'world schooling' isn't going to educate the FRKs. EVERY holiday is the same old tit regurgitated in a different place. Their is nothing cultural with what they do whilst they're there. They seriously should have never had any kids.

They've just had a 6 week summer holiday - they could have given them all these 'experiences' during the summer (given that neither of them appear to work). Why take your children out on TWO overseas holiday during the first month back?! It's unbelievable.

Once you have flexi schooled agreed by the head for even just 1 day, the agreement can be tweaked very easily. Once they have granted you flexi schooling you can then ask to amend the number of days. I have seen it happen. I wonder if she’s slowly increasing them and Freya now has Friday and Mondays off?

This was such a bad call on the schools part. These holidays have massively increased since they had this approved and it looks to be getting worse. No amount of Montessori kids clubs, diary entries or colouring in flags are going to equal an education on your copy and paste holidays. They’re not even exposing the kids to different cultures (bar Thailand which was still heavily beach focussed anyway). They mostly travel to white, western countries where English is either the main language or very easily spoken by the locals, and whilst there don’t do much engaging with said people other than market stalls or hotel staff. Rebecca is seriously deluded if she thinks she can give those kids anything close to the education they deserve (and as someone else pointed out one that she herself has benefitted from )

They have more holidays now than they did when the kids weren't school age.
Why didnt they travel more then? Seems to have massively ramped up in the last 18 months

It’s because she’s now touting herself as a ‘travel expert with kids’ or some such balls. She’s massively pushed this since re launching her blog. Plus she’s also got an agent now and that will be getting her even more freebie holidays. Beccy loves a freebie so more and more holidays. Sod the kids’ needs or education

I literally cannot fathom doing this. Mine has started school this year and is so so tired and emotional every day despite being used to long nursery days.

The thought of taking her out for not one but two!!!! holidays in the first 3 weeks of term is unimaginable. They learn so quickly even in the first few weeks - she already knew how to write a few letters but in a few weeks has improved about tenfold. They are utterly selfish dickheads and I'm so concerned that they aren't being called out.
