There is a time and a place and following their mothers coffin is not it IMO.
William Barr, saw the Epstein case as a useful pawn in a political game with the British government. Barr, Berman writes, explained “that he saw our request to talk to Andrew as sort of a chit in a dispute with the British involving a US diplomat’s wife who had accidentally killed a 19-year-old British motorcyclist in an auto accident”.

I don't think Charles has any choice in the matter to be fair. Anne would be a much better choice though.
Preston points out Princess Anne is dropped as a counsellor of state (deputies for the Monarch) while Prince Andrew and Beatrice make the cut.
As a Princess Anne fan, I find this despicable. King Charles has to do better than that.

It's not their decision. It's the way the system is set up. What's crass and disgusting is putting the Clarence House staff on notice of redundancy before the Queen is even buried.
It’s an unbelievably crass and disgusting decision- but what does anyone expect from that rabble?
So much for Andrew being dropped like a hot brick when the queen died.
Well, if Charles wants the Monarchy to survive then he needs to change certain aspects.I don't think Charles has any choice in the matter to be fair. Anne would be a much better choice though.
Can he or Parluament not change it? He can say he's getting rid of male primogeniture for his sister too for eg and have her instead of Andrew. It would only affect her as Charles has two sons Zara is not a working Royal and its already been changed for Charlotte. It's not their decision. It's the way the system is set up. Surely though all protocol is out the window when a Royal has been stripped of their royal patronages and military titles? or has it all been given quietly back? It's not their decision. Normally and quite meanly on my part I think Royal staff get what they deserve for willingly putting up with all they do just so they can walk backwards out of a room the Royals are in for minimum wage but that is just unnecessary. Yes their jobs will no longer exist but still you could wait a couple of weeks. What's crass and disgusting is putting the Clarence House staff on notice of redundancy before the Queen is even buried.
The only plus side is that having working for the Royal family on your CV makes you highly desirable for other employers.Normally and quite meanly on my part I think Royal staff get what they deserve for willingly putting up with all they do just so they can walk backwards out of a room the Royals are in for minimum wage but that is just unnecessary. In other words, duck you publicApparently true
I don’t think the public will feature as much under the new King, he’s not a people pleaser like his mum.In other words, duck you public
I don't believe she was anyway. She let Andrew rather than a whole gaggle she could have asked to escort her to Philip's memorial. That was another duck youI don’t think the public will feature as much under the new King, he’s not a people pleaser like his mum.

I still think she cared more for the royal public image than Charles ever will, I think she was testing the water with Andrew and it backfired massively.I don't believe she was anyway. Anne loses out because of the stupid rules in play when she was born. Female children came second to male children even if the female was born first back then.
It's all that primogeniture bollox that means Andrew is above Anne in the line of succession.
It's all changed now so a younger brother is not put in front of an older sister in the line of succession.
Anne rocks.
Andrew certainly does not.
Charles is known to find Andrew 'unhelpful.'As I said earlier how does the fact that he was stripped of royal patronages and military titles not overrule these old outdated rules.
If the public just accepts this BS then they will just accept anything. another testing of the water?
