Preston Davey Trial #4

I will say though, I do also think it wont be a fast return of verdicts.

Because they have 25 bloody charges to go through for JV alone.

They will of course want to discuss each one but even if each one took 15 minutes, that's still over 6hrs for JV. I also think if i was a jury member I would want time to give my thoughts even if I was certain of my verdict. A 'get this off my chest' moment with the people who just sat through it all with me.
I hope it isn't a fast return.

I don't want to hear a lawyer in a few weeks claiming that the jury didn't properly deliberate the evidence but just acted on emotion.

I want these POS convicted and sent down for life.

Does anyone know how many instances JV was angry with JMF as I’m sure that will be a good indicator of how many times he assaulted Preston and probably when it started.

And I just can’t believe JV was running around like an idiot at the hospital, did he not understand that the medical staff were there for patients and not for ‘Jamie running around like a headless chicken’ he just has to be the centre of attention even as his adopted son is lying dead. Murdered at his hands (or other protruding part of his evil body). Yuck, they can both ‘twizzle’ from a long rope.
I keep thinking of JMF's opening comments about their relationship and the impact P's arrival had. He tries to brush over it but he says they argued about sex and it was clear it was JV who wanted more, which makes sense as he was needy in every way.

My son died at home from a seizure (many years ago) in his sleep, just before his second birthday. We had called an ambulance, and by the time we got to the hospital both my husband and I had separate police officers with us for all of the time we were at the hospital. They also removed my infant daughter and took her to the children's ward. Whilst we were at the hospital the police also conducted a search of our home, where they seized things like baby bottles that were waiting to be washed and his bedding. As my son had a history of repeated, prolonged seizures, confirmed by the doctors at the hospital, we were free to go once everything was over. So I can see how they were arrested immediately.

Just to say, all.of the above was done very sensitively - and it felt like my police officer was there to offer support, rather than to be 'watching' me
Sorry for the loss of your precious boy ❤

It was similar when my nephew went in to cardiac arrest (and died) at home. Although he had known cardiac issues, the police were there from the minute the 999 call was made until later the next day after they’d managed to speak to his mum at home and understand what had happened.
I think any death of a child that isn’t expected is treated the same until basic facts are established - and thank god thats the case otherwise these cretins would have been able to go home and dispose of vital evidence like their phones, the jizzy sex toys, towels and cot etc before Preston’s post mortem showed what had really happened.

I think the only difference between JV & JMF is that JMF wasn't "stupid" enough to take any incriminating photographic evidence of any indecent images of himself or Preston.
JV however couldn't help but have some mementos (yet knew to keep them not so graphic they're obvious in case he needs to explain them).

I don't believe JMF when he says there was no reaction to an arm break, I don't believe he saw Preston breathing at all when he got home that day, and I don't believe his "sexual DNA" was on Preston's cot and clothes due to them living in the same house.

Jeez I’m still thinking about that bombshell @Tofino !!
Your overly dramatic husband shouts to you hurry up I need help and your conscious, upright child with severe reflux is being really sick and you walk in and know your life is over?
Such a huge flaw! Even the huge performative account of the smell of all the sick. Well they’ve described him being sick extremely frequently. Sick that morning before they left. Sick all over JV at his mums. Sick in the night. So the sick is some huge stand out core memory despite it happening all the time but JV doing all this cpr and bashing him on the back and shoving his hands down his throat has only come to him recently.
Get in the bin!!

Big Pete Energy.

I wonder if he decided in the moment it was powerful enough to end his evidence there.

No further questions your honour 🫡
‘A scene I didn’t expect to see’ isn’t necessarily how I would describe my baby being sick if I was also sure he was conscious. They’re quite over dramatic about the wrong situations, and then equally dismissive about being accused of SA and killing that same baby. And like many have pointed out, no actual emotion shown for this poor little baby. They’re rubbish actors and I would like to assume that nobody on that jury is falling for any of it.

I think JV has really sadistic tendencies, things like filming Preston left in the bath for ages are forms of torture (maybe torment is a better description) as a baby he can’t do anything at all but lie there in the same position, a bath isn't very comfortable, the water gets cooler. I think he really gets off on the “helplessness” and that’s why he had so many videos because he liked to replay them 🤮

JMF also told JV’s mum on the day this all happened that JV started CPR in the car
(Notes taken by a police officer)
I had already picked up on this as JVs account was he started in the house.

Yet today JMF said this and all the detail about the CPR on the stomach:

I want to find what he said in the police interviews too but the MEN page is playing up now. Keep getting an error message.

This was the very last thing that was reported before they said he had finished giving evidence.

He supposedly just walked in on Preston sitting up but conscious with a lot of sickness. Why would he react like this? I expect this is true reaction on walking in to a dead baby and realising he’s in the tit.
Torfino you should be a professional juror. I have followed other threads where your observations are so insightful it’s unreal

Given the water was up to Preston's face, he wasn't in a bath seat and had no supervision the odds were high that the video could have captured a drowning. Whether that occured to JV?

I hope this is prosecution case they knew those 2 would talk in circles and will now just give a very detailed time line with the discrepancies highlighted.

Also possible.
But the videos that were kept include the spinning cup as well. 14mins and 25 mins long. That’s really unusually long.

Yes, I feel for jurors having to sit through them, it's a long time to watch a helpless baby suffering.

I thought I'd seen this somewhere! When it was reported JV began CPR in the house I felt sure one of them had said it started in the car but I couldn't find it. So many discrepancies, new details to fit evidence, pointless embellishments every time they speak. In some ways I think JMF has done worse on the stand than JV.

I'm in agreement with those saying deliberations will take a while but they will be found guilty of everything.

Here are the relevant bits from the police interview in June 2025. JMF really isn’t that clever when you see it like this.

Behind a spoiler just due to length. It looks like he was asked multiple times about the events which is why it looks repeated. But quite a contrast to what we heard today! With the CPR nonsense and how “terrified” he was.

And a reminder of JV’s police interview. Which has now gone from a two finger CPR to squeezing him like a tube of toothpaste 🙄
