Any recommendations for baby shower outfits? Mines is a week on Sunday & so far absolutely everything I have ordered and tried on looks absolutely awful. I don’t know how people manage to look glamorous whilst pregnant 😭 I look and feel like a big 🐳

I feel like when I was at my most pregnant it was easier for me to dress my massive bump because it was winter - for any and all events in the run up to Christmas (well, the arrival of BabyA just before) I wore a pair of silky wide leg trousers with a nice soft tie waist and an oversized satin shirt of some description, I find summer dressing hard at the best of times regardless of baby bumps…

I have a couple of really nice floaty maxi dresses, the kind that are rouched around the ribs - they look lovely on any pregnant lady I think! Flowy but can show off the bump if you want. I’m certain you look beautiful whatever you feel like though.

Did you just Google an antenatal physio? I have some work coverage so maybe I will!
Yep! I made sure in my enquiries that they knew how to treat PGP as that was essential. I still see her now for back help but my PGP didn’t go for a while after birth like some people 💔

Another morning, another “have I eaten too many dates or am I going into labour by shitting my guts out” moment. Love my life.

I’m the opposite of you guys, it’s winter here (it’s 26 degrees but for me feels about 5 🤣) and I don’t know how to dress my bump for warmth at all. I feel frumpy in everything! I’ll probably regret posting this when I’m due in December and it’s 40 degrees and I’m huge.

Currently 32 weeks and I think I've started to get braxton hicks...? I asked chatgpt ofc lol and it did seem like this is what I was getting, but at the same time I'm not 100% sure - do they feel like period cramps? like, really faint ones?

Mine felt crampy and like a stretching/hardening of my belly temporarily. I could touch my belly and feel the difference. Sometimes I’d have to breathe through the stronger ones.

Turns out last weeks palava was highly likely to just be another bleeping UTI (that’s the 4th one in 2 months I think) and I’ve got thrush again.

I couldn't sleep at all last night, too hot, fell asleep out of exhaustion at about 2am and woke up at 6:45am when toddler started shouting. If I go back to sleep now I won’t be able to sleep tonight (even though it’s only just gone 8am).

Toddlers and our room were already 29 degrees last night.

Does anyone have any tips on surviving a cold while pregnant 😫 I’m 10 weeks and the tickly cough/bunged up nose etc is really triggering my morning sickness, I’ve managed to avoid being sick until now and just had nausea, and on top of that eating used to make me feel better but now I’m being sick after eating 😖

I’m absolutely miserable, I’m a nasal spray, lemsip enthusiast when I’ve got a cold usually and my lemon and honey and vaporub are just not even touching the sides.
when will my toddler stop bringing home colds from nursery?!

Just carefully placing myself in here!
Tested positive this week so very early days, long history of loss so I am very cautious but very hopeful that baby number 2 is coming. Have a scan in a couple of weeks - thankfully life with a toddler doesn’t give me much time to stress about it :ROFLMAO:

My first trimester my sinuses were blocked like feck, and every time I blew my nose it was thick blood red mucus. Delightful! I used a steam humidifier bought from Amazon (I maturely called it my ‘puff puff machine’) and would put some drops of eucalyptus or similar oils (I am sure olbas oil or a decongestant mix would work!) and it made a huge difference at bed time for me. I contemplated getting one for my office to use lemon oil to help with my nausea but I never got round to it. The sinex decongestant inhaler thing is pregnancy friendly as well.

I’m 19 weeks tomorrow and feeling soo much movement . God I missed this feeling . They’re very strong movements too but every time my husband or one of my children put their hand there , baby stops 🤣 hoping someone other than me will be able to feel them soon !

also we’ve definitely decided not to find out the gender . With having one of each we’ve got lots of baby clothes in stock for either gender , and so won’t affect our shopping . I’m excited for the surprise
