Great purchaseGood old bubblegum tree.
Love that! We bought it for my first born and then kept it and 4 years later got it out for our new one. The tunes are burnt into our psyche!Great purchaseI packed up the mat but I kept the purple monkey as an ornament for the Christmas tree the last two years
sad I know but he loved it
We have a family heirloom Moses basket that is 70+ years old and had my Mum and I in it. I obviously got a brand new mattress for it! It’s been a godsend actually because it’s this smallest ‘bed’ we have and our son was teeny weeny at birth and is still smaller than some newborns now he’s 3 months old, everything else felt massive to him and he hasn’t been able to get on with it. He sleeps overnight in the Moses basket as well at the moment, we may change this over Christmas time to see if we can convince him is somewhat expensive next to me crib thing is actually alright! He will outgrow the Moses first as it’s pretty small, but there’s tonnes of room in his bassinet so we may get a stand and use that for a while when he does.In terms of having baby downstairs chilling, what have people gone for? The only sleep item I have at the moment is a Snuz for upstairs so not sure whether to go with the lil play mats/non roll changing pads but have also seen bassinets (even though they grow out of them kinda quick).
I’ve got these which are very strait jacket chic but my wee lad is a fan: https://amzn.eu/d/hlXE097 . However, when born he was so tiny (as in, smaller than some preemies tiny) that he worked his arms out of them no matter what we did. I got a couple of the love2dream swaddle sacks where you can have their arms up as it’s a preferred hand position for him but the only time I tried he seemed very confused and rocked himself from side to side! What are you guys using for their sleep? I imagine I’ll swaddle while in hospital but will probably use a sleep sack once home. Only issue is all the “newborn” ones I’ve ordered are massive and don’t know will he be too small for him just yet. I’m not a fan of the Harry Houdini looking ones where the arms are strapped in either. Hmmm.
