Interested to know how your pram shopping went!! We had a quick look at the weekend and have decided the Bugaboo donkey 5 twin is going to be best for us. It doesn't fold down very compact, but considering we've got a 3-year old already, finding a car that fits 3 ISOFIX is a nightmare, so we're going to be buying a van hence why compact fold won't be a problem for us!!

We have a snuzpod from our first still, so we're going to put them both in that to begin with and then I think I'm just going to put their big cot in our room and keep them both together until they get fed up of each other 🤣 I did think about buying another snuzpod, but I don't know how the separation will affect them. It's so difficult thinking about all of this!

Disney is easy to cancel and get our money back as it's free to cancel, etc. I've sent an Easyjet medical form to my midwife to see if she can get it filled out by my consultant and then Easyjet will hopefully give us our money back. If not, we did luckily book on our credit card, so we can hopefully get something back!!
We didn’t make it to the shops last weekend - it ended up being “busier” than expected and I couldn’t drag myself out. Will update you once I finally do it though. I do want one that isn’t too heavy though as I can imagine if it is, it’ll put me off going on the tube etc and just getting out and about a little.

How long do you reckon you’ll keep them in the snuzpod? (How long is a piece of string) because I’m looking at a friends 8 week old baby and in my head there’s no way you could fit two of him in a cot…

20 week scan shortly. Aside from obviously hoping all is well I do hope Baby cooperates and lets us see their gender because I am nosey and if they don't behave I'll have to pay £80 for a private gender scan cos I wanna know! I think with no reason boy, but as I've said before this could be because our cat is a boy so I automatically refer to Bab as "he" like he is the cat.
My women's intuition was correct!!!

I managed to get an hours sleep before I’m wide awake for the night! Last few nights I can’t manage to stay asleep and spend the night tossing and turning. I am 34 weeks and I’m at the uncomfortable fed up stage.

32 week appt tomorrow followed by a growth scan. Excited to see the young man again, hoping he might have stopped shoving his feet in his face, but as long as he’s happy 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm 39 weeks and feel like I am analysing every symptom I have now 😂 if it could be a sign labour will start soon. Wishful thinking!
The amount of lightning crotch I've been getting is insane though so uncomfortable!
Well I lost count of the amount of days I thought 'I think today's the day' based off what I was feeling only for nothing to happen. He made his appearance on a day when I hadn't even had a slight twinge.

I love how whenever I get a bizarre new minor inconvenience of an ailment I whack it into Google and it's like YEP TOTALLY NORMAL MOST EVERYBODY GETS IT NOBODY KNOWS WHY BUT *comedy jingle sting* THAT'S PREGNANCY

It's waking up with intense calf cramp in my right leg currently. Dunno why it's just my right one. Probably something to do with the girdle pain.

(By the way thank you to whoever a few pages back gave the tip to do everything like moving to standing with your knees firmly together. I feel very regal but it has helped massively)

‘It’s just pregnancy’ was the response to basically everything I said to my midwife this morning 🤣 she was sympathetic to me and she now realises that telling me all my results are ‘perfect’ makes me feel like a grade A preggo 🤣

Will have to try keeping my knees together for standing, I’m getting extremely unsightly and ungainly dragging myself to my feet!

I used to get those cramps after a heavy night of drinking as I used to be dehydrated. They are terrifying

I’ve had horrific cramp in my legs when I wake up after a nights sleep but it’s only when I’ve been wearing heels or on my feet for a while.
Now I’m on mat leave it’s completely gone so I think the mix of hormones, being heavier and pregnant was the culprit.
My muscles were so ducked I felt like I’d run a marathon every time I got cramp

The worst is when it wakes you up and you're too asleep to do the sensible thing like massage the calf or pull your toes back so you're just wriggling round like a whale coming up for air trying not to cry out, or maybe that's just me

I wake my husband to tell him it's his fault 🌝🌝🌝

I thought my young lad had turned today as the midwife, when she examined me, thought he was bottom-up and head down. I was super excited about this but the growth scan I had after confirmed he’s still frank breech. Boo! But there are still enough weeks that nobody is too worried. I’d really like to avoid a c-section if I can because of the recovery time and being unable to drive and stuff but ultimately it’ll just be able what’s safest for us both. Anyway. He’s measuring fine, my BP is fine, everything is tip top so that’s a result. He has a massive head but apparently that’s common with a breech baby as, if he had turned, his head would be a bit squashed by now or something 🤣 it’s not off the scale it’s just right up there.

I get this a lot and I was told by midwife to drink more water and keep leg high up (I use cushions). Neither has helped though 😂

Omg the cramp is brutal! Literally woke up screaming from the pain in my last pregnancy. And then sometimes I’d have muscle pain for the next couple of days too?! Someone told me to drink tonic water before bed and no idea if it actually helped but I seemed to start getting it less when I started doing that.

oooh possibly the quinine? I'll try some, I'm the same with my leg just feeling slightly background-level janky like it's threatening to cramp during the day.

I really want to feel grateful after an early loss in April where I was having very little symptoms and I was worried. But the last two days have been rough, i am exhausted. It's funny how you forget

Ah bless you. You will feel like that. I remember feeling so guilty when I felt so awful post partum, I was like I remember feeling like I’d put up with anything to have my baby. Obv all feelings are temporary and valid!
