Was anyone referred for a growth scan at 17 weeks? Trying to not worry after the EPU episode this week

I measured a bit high on my last one - never have before. I think I was just really anxious. Easily said but try not to worry - especially as the 24hr exam was fine.

Hi I’m so so scared. I tested positive this morning which is when AF was due and my line is so weak! I’m just over a miscarriage and d and c at Christmas. Pls don’t judge me but I really thought I was out and I drank wine last night. I’m now absolutely terrified and feeling so guilty. Can anyone comment on my line? I also feel so so guilty for the alcohol. My brother is very sick in hospital and it was just a lot on me

Looks like a faint line to me. You will be fine. A lot of women drink before they know they are pregnant. The night I got my positive I was tipsy!

Aw thanks for reassuring me as I’m feeling pretty tit today. My mum just told me she drank for ages before she knew she was pregnant with me and I turned out ok. I’m not condoning my actions here obviously. It does seem to be getting stronger but I’m so afraid of a chemical

Don’t worry, the placenta doesn’t take over until around 9 weeks. Up to that point it’s the yolk Salk providing everything.
I’m due no4 and have had drinks before knowing with all of mine, but this time I was on holiday the week before finding out and was drinking pints all day and wine all night 😅 baby is absolutely fine. Don’t panic! X

My first positive was a faint line too, on or around the day my period was due. I am pretty sure I had some alcohol in the days before getting my positive result. The general consensus is it’s fine, it’s super early, and as long as you don’t drink now, all is well. I think the same happens to a lot of women.
