I live in Ireland and as far as I'm aware (open to crrection) we don't have sling librarys. It seems like a fantastic resource for those of you that can use it

I had a consultant appointment today at 17 weeks and they have recommended I take an aspirin daily for possible high blood pressure (sometimes it’s high and other times it’s normal) and I have to increase my thyroid medication and they want blood pressure done every 3 weeks, bloods taken every 4/6 weeks and 4 weekly growth scans plus all the normal appointments and I’ve 2 phone calls also booked in. I’ve left feeling like I’ll never be away from the hospital, all a bit overwhelming and like I’ve a lot of dates to write down.
7 weeks pregnant, abroad and have gastro. I can't take a thing and feel like rubbish
Also in Ireland, there is one in cork in my local community so they are dotted around the place . Wouldn't say they're that popular but definitely a good resource as some slings don't suit etc
That's a lot. 19 weeks here, taking the aspirin. I actually get high reading in doctor's office, in the 24 hrs BP monitoring everything was fine. Measuring at home is also fine.
Sat in the doctors car park after just having a stretch and sweep. 2cm dilated but my notes say only 2/5 engaged, but midwife felt babies head. Google is telling me labour is probs going to be a few days rather than the hours I was hoping. Overdue and fed up

If you can, take some sips of full large coke. The sugars will help. It’s also better than throwing up bile.

. The local non-medication remedy might help if you can stomach it. In Turkey that tends to be ayran, for example.
People keep pointing at my belly and asking when I’m due, and I’m thinking “oh my god how dare u insinuate I’m pregnant???” Even though I’m literally 7 months pregnant and humongous

My husband got me coke yesterday for this exact reason as I can't stomach the taste of bile.

I am sooo sleepy, flooded, I have a fairly "easy" email job type of thing but it is impossible to hide my lack of focus and need to take some days off asap

This has been discussed before but for the love of god WHY does instagram insist on showing me stillbirth reels?!? (And miscarriage ones back in the 1st trimester while I was experiencing bleeding after my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage)

Yep. I have this exact same thing and not ideal when I’m feeling nervous. I mentioned before but my bump has vanished. I’m just trying to tell myself that it’s because the bump was just bloat, water retention etc from the first tri. Then bam a tiktok about loss and it was missed as there were no symptoms ie very obvious ones. I feel like I can’t trust my body. oh sweetie. Bleeding can be so scary and nerve wracking. It doesn’t always mean miscarriage. Do you have access to some pads? Midwives will always ask how much you are bleeding. Try and rest. Has there been any cramping? X
