unless they change the date or something happens sooner we could be meeting baby in 9 days
I feel like everyone I ask this question to has been influenced by tik tok because everyone gives the same answersAre you packing snacks? All I can think about is food right now. 37 weeks and my sickness is almost under control (my new anti sickness meds work 70%) or the time so I'm enjoying eating. I'm not sure what snacks to take with me.
The friendship isn’t serving either of you well any more, so communicate your needs clearly and give it the slow fade if need be. Any lecture can be responded with a ‘I’d rather we didn’t discuss that’ or ‘Please don’t do x again, it’s upsetting me.’ And if she continues, then stop seeing her and being available.Hope you don’t mind me changing the convo but has anyone lost friends when being pregnant?
I’ve only told a handful of friends however I have a friend who isn’t as close but she guilt tripped me into telling her (my fault for caving). She randomly messaged and told me to promise her I’d tell her if I was pregnant and how I needed to confide in her blah blah blah I found it really manipulative. She didn’t know I was pregnant but I found it selfish like her needs came first.
She’s had ivf and unfortunately it hasn’t worked.
I’ve had trauma with miscarriages and I’m high risk due to my health so it’s not easy breezy.
I haven’t heard from her since then (a blessing) until I met up with her and some closer friends for lunch. She made me feel so awkward and shot down anything I said and dismissed me but she also lectured me on how I need behave whilst pregnant. I confided in my friend and she said she also witnessed it at lunch and I’m not going mad.
I’m shocked that someone I thought was a nice girl, someone who I thought had their shit together could be so selfish or just projecting her upset onto me.
She’s is obsessed with health so lectured me about my health conditions and how I need to act during pregnancy. It’s quite a niche illness to have and she knows shit.
Has this happened to anyone else? I’m happy if the friendship jogs on and leaves me alone but I am a little hurt x
I just got this and one for my friend too! Looks greatBoots £10 Tuesday has got a wooden play gym/mat for £10 from £40. Looks like a great deal.
Personally I would research the pros and cons of a section both for you and baby as interventions will always carry risks. For example the fluid in babies lungs isn’t squeezed out as it is with a vaginal birth, baby also misses out on vital bacteria that’s present in the birth canal, risk of infection to yourself, recovery etc. At the end of the day, it is major abdominal surgery and not to be taken lightly.Looking for some opinions/ experiences etc. Probably going to be very mixed...
I am due in April and the thought of giving birth sends shivers down my spine. I am thinking of having a caesarean.
What do you all think?
The heated seats in our cars are an absolute dream for back pain, so something with heat might help you. I had a pregnancy massage a few weeks ago and it proper sorted me out, I’d definitely recommend getting one if you can!How are we all soothing back pain? I’ll be 27 weeks tomorrow, have done 4 13 hour shifts this week and I’m absolutely paying for it now![]()
