I had COVID at 15 weeks, which was just before I got married and passed it onto my other half as well!

I felt like I had a bad head cold and just rested as much as I could and took paracetamol if I needed it - the congestion was the worst out of everything and not being able to do anything except stick my head over a bowl of steam 😂

I was fine and so is baby - am 21 weeks now!

Just remember you can't use anything like vicks, olbas oil or anything menthol though
Oh really? My midwife said that Vicks is fine during all trimesters of pregnancy, as long as used as recommended. I used some in a bowl of steam to clear my sinuses. 🫠 😭

How many weeks are you? Were the images good? We have one on Tuesday and I’ll be 27+6 but have an anterior placenta so not sure what to expect!
I had one at 28 weeks with an anterior placenta and we could see baby really well ☺

I also had one at 28 weeks exactly with an anterior placenta and the photos were clear ☺

You’ll be fine to use Vicks. I’ve used that and olbas oil. Tbh the sprays up your nose are fine too - there will be minimal in your bloodstream. Saline spray is a good alternative.
the only really bad thing is decongestants both pregnant and bfing. They can impact blood supply to placenta /boobs.

somebody needs to write a memo for babies in the womb and tell them going to the toilet does not need to be that serious! Why is baby girl making me feel like I’m about to piss myself in asda then when I waddle to the toilet is it just a drip! 😩

The memories, one of the joys post parting is being able to do a proper wee.. but babies don’t get the memo that mum needs time to go to the loo either.. 😁😁 they still control the bladder 😂

How do I get rid of all the miscarriage/baby loss content on my insta? It’s giving me so much anxiety esp since having a loss last time 😣
The algorithm seems to know I’m pregnant and is feeding me so much of this!

If it TikTok you can hold down and click not interested. You can also block certain words also which I did but tbh, it still comes up. I ended up deleting TikTok my first 10 weeks!! X

Also getting a lot of this! Only just hit 5 weeks today, it’s not helping at all 😅

I kept blocking words and hiding and pressing not interested but it wouldn’t stop! I ended up deleting it anyway as it just made me spiral

When did you guys start packing your hospital bags? I’m 30 weeks tomorrow and I’ve bought a lot this month and packed a majority but can’t afford to get the last few bits till next pay when I’m about 32 weeks and then the order probs will come when I’m 33 weeks. Do you think that’s okay? I’m just worrying myself I think

I panicked when I hit 30 weeks and saw a premature baby at the same gestation 😅 so I packed everything I had. I’m 37 weeks now and have bought more bits which still haven’t made it into the suitcase

Almost 40 weeks here and haven't packed my bag. I have all the bits just not all in the same place... so I should probably get on that but motivation and energy is through the floor.

We had our anatomy scan today and the baby is looking perfect, so bloody grateful after my past experiences and the worries I’ve been having leading up to it 😭

I'm 26 weeks and I'm slowly starting to pick up bits that I'm taking so it's all ready for packing my bag just in case I need to pack it early then at least I have the stuff I need.

I think 33 weeks ish is perfectly fine! I’m 38+6 now and it’s only been ready for about 3 weeks or so and sat in the boot.

What bags did everyone use please?
I’ve 2 cabin size suitcases packed, one for me and one for baby. I’ve a backpack packed also with a mix of stuff in case of a longer stay.
All 3 will go in the car and we’ll take them out as needed.
