My baby boy was born this morning at 5am! He was born 1.5 hours after arriving at the hospital (when I arrived at the hospital I was only 3cm) very speedy 😂💙

Hi everyone, I am firmly plonking myself in this thread after seeing the most beautiful little heartbeat on our ultrasound. 🥰 I am 8/9 weeks right now (LMP puts me at 9w2d yet the UT showed around 8 weeks, but I know things are too tiny to be accurate at the moment). This is my fifth pregnancy and officially the furthest I’ve ever gotten, so taking everything with both hands right now. It feels so good to finally be in this thread. ❤

Currently on the ward waiting for steroids.
Sometimes I think it’s a curse knowing as much as I do, please keep us in your thoughts and pray that this baby stays put for a lot longer, I’m not even in the third trimester yet.

Hello ladies, my baby is here!

I started to lose my mucus plug over a few days then woke up to my waters broken. Ended up going in for my section however baby ended up in NICU for a bit of help. After a few days in hospital we’re finally home!

I’ve not quite processed what happened but have an appointment for a debrief!

Baby T is here and he is absolutely beautiful. Just perfect.
It didn’t go according to plan as in I had two failed spinal blocks as ended up having to do general which is my greatest fear in life. Found that really distressing but it was only for a few seconds till I went under.. had a bleed as well as I had large fibroid which they were very concerned about, lost about a liter but didn’t need a transfusion. Can around in agony and it felt like it took them forever to stop the pain but I think it was only seconds. All the aside is nothing when I look in and see the most wonderful little man.. I cooked a fab one, not bad for a 46 year old 😂😂 He was 6 pounds 1 so not bad given he made his appearance at least two weeks early.. thanks to you all for all
The advice and banter over the last few mi this it’s been awesome. Will stay around for a while 💕💙

Waters have broken, we are in the hospital, c section planned for the morning unless Labour starts before then. Holy moly when the waters go they blooming go… I’m sure I’ll get my dignity back at some stage.. leaking everywhere from admissions to the ward.. surprisingly not as mortified as I thought I would be… Baby T will be here in the morning, it’s surreal

Baby B was born on Sunday afternoon 🥰 7lbs 5oz which surprised us as he was so late! Absolutely knackered and feel a bit broken but can’t wait to start family life as a 3.

Posting here as I STILL haven’t told everyone I’m pregnant (waiting for my 20 week scan and I’ll probably tell people around the 6 months mark due to being so nervous).. how amazing are the little movements when they become more frequent?!

I never thought I’d see this day as I’ve had multiple losses, fertility issues, got told we would need IVF AND got told I’d likely lose this pregnancy. Cannot believe we’ve made and are growing an actual human being 🩷

Just came from my 10 week scan, last time the baby was measuring 4 days smaller, this time it was 4 days bigger so I guess it's just where it's supposed to be. 🥳 I went private but honestly it was only 40€ and it's sooooo worth it omg. Now I have NT in 2weeks so I'm really excited for that.

Also I know it's super early but on the scan it looks like the baby has the same pointy nose as me, I love itttttttt. 🥺

I just got call from my doctor and we are having a low risk girl. 🥺 I'm so happy, we are both crying, this will be our only child and I was so scared of gender disappointment because I always imagined myself with a girl. And now it's our baby girl. Oh my gooooooood 😭 💕💕💕💕

Should be ticking 33-38 weeks but I had my baby 6 weeks ago and I still can’t bring myself to leave the thread! It’s so exciting seeing everyone else’s journey 🥰

We had our anatomy scan today and the baby is looking perfect, so bloody grateful after my past experiences and the worries I’ve been having leading up to it 😭

Feeling so fed up, I had a midwife appt this morning and told her I am feeling really low and asked for help… her response was ‘you’re not that bad’… literally without any other context/questions about how I feel! I asked how bad do I have to be before you take me seriously and she got flustered (probably because a student midwife was in the room) and then told me to call my GP! How would this midwife who I have briefly met twice before know if I am ‘bad’ enough for a referral for some help.
