Can anyone offer reassurance on symptoms fluctuating?
I’m 9 weeks and feel like I’ve felt fine for about a week - wouldn’t even know I was pregnant at times

Completely normal, especially around 9 weeks as the placenta starts taking over x

Guys when do you find out what type of placenta you have? 😂 I’m full of questions today xx

I got told at my 20 week scan! Although it was kind of a passing comment so I didn't really pick up on it for a few days when I was thinking about everything haha

Im now 12 weeks but have hardly had any symptoms other than feeling exhausted. Had a bit of nausea early on, and light headedness but mostly just so tired all the time. Still tired but not quite as bad, thankful that we had quite a few scan so we knew they were ok (twins)

Thank you guys - I’ve had 3 scans already, and have another this week but terrified to go with how I’ve been feeling. Guess I’ll pull my big girl pants on!

Was 19 weeks at the weekend and I’ve started to really feel baby moving all of a sudden. Was sat watching the new Bridgerton earlier and got a right thump during that carriage scene 😂

Glad to hear lots of good news today.
Agree with all those saying go in with reduced movement once you have a pattern. I went last night. All was well. But last time I was in it lead to scans and tests as they happened to find something weird unrelated to the movements which they wouldn’t have had I not been in. (Also turned out ok).

Anyway, bit of fun maybe.
My cousin said in her planned C-sec she had a playlist & song for baby to be born to. I couldn’t take it seriously at first, couldn’t think beyond “Circle of life” like lifting out Simba or perhaps “We build this city” or another 80s classic like “waiting for a star to fall”. Now I’m thinking about it and thinking “landslide” or “lean on me” which makes me teary or maybe my fave film theme or Hanz Zimmer “You’re so cool” or something like that. Or maybe just nothing at all.

What would you guys have, if anything?

We had the radio playing but we had the option of choosing a song just decided against it. As it happened I don’t have a clue what song was playing as he came out because I was so focused on baby and Mr R

This reminds me of taking ages to carefully choose the song I walked down to the aisle at to my wedding, I have no recollection of it actually playing 😂

I’m going to make a playlist I think but I questioned how long it needs to be the other day because who knows how long I could be in labour for.

We didn’t have music on when I had my c-section! My head had completely fell off though so music was the last thing on my mind 🤣 But it is a shame, my first born had a proper banger for his birth song - Rhythm of the Night, ohhhh yeahhhh 💃 🪩

I love this question! I don't plan on having a C-section so goodness knows how long a play list would have to be. But there are already a few songs I sing to baby sometimes adapting the words a tiny bit to make it about her.
'Pencil full of Lead' by Paolo Nutini is a favourite, with the bit in the chorus that goes "but most of all, I've got my baby"
'Ain't no Mountain' by Marvin Gaye
'You Make My Dreams Come True' by John Oates
And one called 'You Make Me Happy' by My sun and stars.
All very cringey but I love 'em 😅

Need advice! Have bought uppababy vista in a grey colour, it’s not being delivered for a couple of weeks so still time to change order. I’ve seen at least 3 people now with the grey and it seems to really show up dirt, their’s have been filthy. So now I’m second guessing and wondering should I switch to navy?

This is cute. Whenever I wanted baby to move when she was in my belly I played or sang you are my sunshine. Now when she cries I sing it and she calms down. My 4 year old gets jealous though and is like ‘i’m your sunshine too Mummy!?’

She also likes Taylor Swift 😆

I just asked my partner what he'd pick and he picked A Sky Full Of Stars, but the version from Sing 2 cos my 2 year old sings it all day long and asks for it on in the car constantly. I said but that's his song, and my partner said yeah but he can't be there so I'd want him involved.

BRB just crying my eyes out 😂
