Okay body, approaching 19 weeks and apparently I'm suddenly back to throwing up at night?!
Also that awful leg cramp I had a couple of nights ago still hurts, feels like I've torn a muscle.
Might try and use all this to go down the sympathy route with Mr Brew to get that private gender scan this weekend (even if it is less than two weeks til out 20 week NHS scan, ha!)

Was it you that found the girls name thing on the tree the other week?
Yes that was me! It's so odd I spent the first 16 weeks convinced it was a boy, but last couple of weeks I kept saying 'she' when referring to baby but I don't know why, then finding the pink duck with my name on it.
I messaged my best friends after to tell them we'd found out the gender, I said I'd voice note them with the reveal. One of them was in a shop and stopped in a quiet corner to listen, and said she'd by total chance stopped next to a pink octopus toy, we have a little joke about octopuses (basically they used to say I dance like one, charming hey 🤣🤣) so yet another odd sign.

I'm so glad to hear everything went well today @watermelon sugar, exciting that you might be getting to meet your baby girl a little sooner xx

We have a date for our c-section.. very exciting. Had the sugar test yesterday, got results today, glucose is good and iron is good. Blood pressure was lowest it’s ever been in the hospital so thankful that all is good. Baby must had a growth spurt as they are exactly a week ahead which would be in line with my original dates before they were changed. Booked in for another ultra sound on the 21st of May so that is good too. All going well and long may it continue..

Tell ya what girls, your work deciding to do a fire drill when you're 5 floors up and approaching 5 months pregnant with very achy hips and back really isn't how I wanted to spend this morning. Wah.

I’m only early days, I keep saying I’ve got no major symptoms but Jesus Christ my boobs are in agony. Not slept properly in days with the pain every time I turn over. Scan this week so fingers crossed this is a good sign!

My growth scan went well! He is measuring around 3lb 11oz and on the 60th centile so all good. My partner is convinced we aren't making it to c-section date though and he'll be here mid June, so we will see!

Hahahahaha after reading the posts I said to my partner WHY have you not spoke to the bump so he goes right against it and goes “Hello… ummm it’s your dad. Nice to meet you. Guess I’ll speak to you again tomorrow” and gave it a kiss. Laughed my head off

At this point in pregnancy I think my stubbornness would have me weeing the bed before I waddle down stairs, that would deffo wake me up too much hahaha
A friend of mine said she’d have put a bucket in the spare room to piss in so she didn’t have to go downstairs and I remember thinking you dirty bitch but the further along I get the more tempting that sounds 😂😂😂

I defo won’t do it but it’s tempting 😂

I also had a weird dreeam, I dreamt about a small brown spider today, it ran over my duvet and I woke up because I generally fear spiders. When googling spiders it usually means some sort of anxiety, uncertainty, being trapped etc. But then I see this:

I'm not spiritual in any way, not religious, don't believe in horoscope. 😂 I usually never even remember my dreams. But it feels like such a special thing at such a special time. 🫶🏼

👋🏻 evening from NZ. First time poster on this thread. I am 10.5 weeks along and reeeeeeally struggling with morning (aka all day) sickness. I vomit 1-3 times most days and feel pretty nauseous at all other times. It’s usually in the morning that I’m sick and seems to happen whether I eat ‘in time’ or not haha. I’m also on some medications for a couple medical issues and am being monitored for those but feel like they’re not working as well cos I’m probably just vomiting them up. I do have anti nausea pills too which work but they make me really anxious and I invariably end up needing to leave work to go home and sleep it off. I’m running out of sick leave and while work is being understanding I’m worried it won’t last long. I’m finding it tough to last a whole day at work most days now due to the sickness and feeling weak etc. anyway, that’s my big whinge up haha my husband is being very supportive but it’s been a lot tougher than I thought it would be tbh

I really want another scan mainly because I’ve had my 20w one and can’t wait until birth to see bub again, when is the best time for a 4d one do you suggest?
Deffo before 30 weeks! I had one at 26 weeks which was perfect. Had a re attendance at 30 weeks and they’re waaay too squashed now to get good pics! Here are my comparisons. At 30 weeks they had the cord in front of their face and their hands up most of the time. 26 weeks they had more room and we could manoeuvre them to shift positions xx

I’m one of those people who hates being touched, I’m not a hugger or anything like that. I went round MILs today and when I stood up to leave she pressed both hands on my bump and said “ooooooh he’s coming along nicely”. My boyfriend said when we got in the car that he thought I was going to smack her I looked fuming 😂😂 I hope this isn’t the start of people coming and feeling my bump uninvited 😂 the only person who can touch it without asking is my boyfriend I might get a t shirt made warning people 😂

Because we like to live our lives in a constant level of chaos, Baby 3 is due December 2024, although if the last 2 are anything to go by, I am fully expecting a November baby! 3 under 3 - who needs sleep anyway!

I’ve not been on this thread for a while as my anxiety has just been through the roof. Work has been so stressful and I’ve never been so tired in my life!!! I’ve been staying with my mum the last week because I didn’t even have the energy to eat 🥲
So I’ve booked my second scan for Wednesday and I should be 10 weeks, hopefully everything will be good and I’ll be able to see a difference from my last one at 7 weeks! 🤞🏻
Hope you are all doing okay x

After all my complaining and worrying that my bump hasn't grown, I've suddenly found myself way too round to fit into any of my jeans, even the ones that were still really roomy just two weeks ago. Eek.

Accidentally picked up a random pack of allergy tablets the other day down the side of my bed and took one without thinking as needed to. Of course it’s one of the more un-pregnancy friendly antihistamines 😑 it’s fine but just an annoying reminder of how you just can’t do anything pregnant without thinking twice.

Had another scan and CTG today. Nothing much else new to say but the consultant said she looks really low down but they don’t want to intervene because I’m only 35 weeks and it’s probable that she might come early cos she’s so far down into my pelvis. They said they want me to get as close to 37 weeks as possible. But be prepared for her to come early 😭 Back again next Saturday for another scan!! May as well move in til she is born 😅 It’s so nice seeing her extra times on scans though!

Regarding the boys clothing - my first is a boy and GOD am I excited to buy girls clothes! Their just so much nicer!! I’m sure I’ve said this before but my Mum, God bless her, she lives near a Tesco and I swear to god - ALL they sell are crocodiles on fucking skateboards. Half of my sons wardrobes are crocodiles on a skateboard it’s unreal 😂😂 Hope there’s no girl equivalent of a pink crocodile on a skateboard

Hii! I did exactly the same despite it being so early! Im also 32, itll be my first, with a due date of 13th Dec!
I’m with you guys - I’ve had multiple losses so my hospital are saying I will get a 6 week scan 🤞🏻 absolutely terrified right now and still testing every day. I didn’t have a period between my last loss and this one, so we’re going off that bleed for now. I tested positive 2 weeks ago now very light but now they’re really strong 🤞🏻

I’ve always found EPU really helpful and reassuring. I had bright red blood in my first pregnancy at 6 weeks and they said it was probably just implantation. If it’s light pink it’s usually fairly common and down to implantation at this time. I had some pinkish discharge at 10 weeks so I panicked because I was a bit later on but got checked out and I had a little bit of thrush that had irritated my cervix.

I think we’re at the most similar point in the thread in terms of weeks. This is where I’m at the min the pic is from the 14th April. I do finally look pregnant, but I still look the exact same now. It’s just not getting bigger. And yes I have just given up with a bra I’m so past the point of caring.. and hair straighteners apparently
You look great! But yes I feel my bump is so similar, I keep wearing the same few tighter dresses to work to try and make my stomach look more like a bump rather than the little buldge I get with anything less fitted.
---
I had no bump with my first pregnancy, it popped out a little at 24 weeks and got bigger from 30 weeks onwards but you still get the heavy feeling! This time at 21 weeks I feel huge, my husband told me I was big all over earlier which was great 😂 boobs hitting the belly, can’t breath 😂
I was saying something earlier this evening about how I'm not thin anymore, my partner said "you are still thin, but you're just bulbous too now"
Bulbous!! They really do know how to make us feel better don't they, not 🤣
