Been getting upset I’m 21 weeks and can’t feel baby at all, it’s kicked in… literally! Sat in an all day meeting today with hands on my belly and can just feel it constantly. I love it so much
Ahh this is so lovely, makes me excited to feel mine. 20 weeks and I haven't even felt a flutter yet. Do you know if you've got an anterior placenta?

So with knickers I’ve just been sizing up in my normal style the entire pregnancy and been doing ok but they’ve been getting a bit uncomfortable the past few weeks. My MW told me last week I should get full briefs and 4-5x bigger than normal so they cover bump and will work after my csection. So I bought a couple of packs yesterday.

OMG. I look like Humpty Dumpty. I think even my Granny would have turned her nose up at these pants 😂

Hahaha I got bigger high rise style pants with my first pregnancy and just continued to wear them after. Only recently I started buying smaller nicer ones but now they’re out the window again. I got stretchy hipster ones from primark but I find they're quite small made, so I will probably need bigger ones again soon. The only thing is they’re like gym leggings type material and I feel they make me more sweaty 😂 such a glamorous life pregnancy is!

It really is so glamorous! 😂 I usually wear short style but had been wearing M&S high rise shorts because they sat nicely on my bump. But these I could tuck my boobs in I think 🤣 she might have been a bit dramatic when she told me to get 4-5 sizes bigger 😂 they’re literally by my ribs with all of my giant bump tucked in 😂

Hi girls! joining this thread I’m 13 weeks and some days now and I suffer from a fluctuating belly. Some days I wake up with a bit of a belly other totally flat 🤣🤣

I really don’t know how to dress anymore. Any tips on how to dress during this weird weeks where belly is not obviously showing looks like I had way too much food?? haha I normally dress very girly dresses, skirts, boots heels so would appreciate some good fashion advice please

Who here has packed their hospital bag for baby? I can’t remember how much I packed for my first (ended up running out anyway as was in for a week alone during covid restrictions)

I’m currently sat on the floor surrounded by clothes in a million different sizes trying to figure out what to pack 🤣 it definitely doesn’t help knowing I have to pack for two babies and they could be born early/be completely different sizes! 😫

If anyone has a list I’d be grateful!

Mines been since basically Sunday only to be honest! And I thought I made it up 🤣 started dozing off with my hand on my belly and it woke me up… but I thought I just had a twitch and dramatised it. I actually don’t know! The sonographer didn’t tell me

When I had my second I packed a “need immediately” bag with 2/3 vests, 2/3 baby grows in different sizes, handful of nappies, a hat etc. Then had another bag in the car with another assortment of stuff in it, could you do the same for the boys? I’d do maybe 2-3 vests and baby grows each in tiny baby/newborn/0-3m and then have a bigger stash in the car? Should cover all eventualities so for the first couple hours then you can send hubby to get the rest afterwards?

I haven’t even got over the first hurdle of finding a hospital bag! I’ve spent the last two days trying to find one I like online and have had no luck 😭 think I may have to give up and take a cabin case out of the loft

I’ve bought a few smock / skater dresses from new look but I’d be interested in what people have to suggest too!

I’ve found anything tight is painful anyway and just shows off my bloat 😭

I am such an overpacker in the sense I genuinely just took 6 pairs of shoes for a three day trip away, packing ONE baby bag gives me the fear. I will honestly have to keep 10 more baby grows in the car just in case. And like 5 more pairs of knickers… because apparently you never know

My growth scan went well! He is measuring around 3lb 11oz and on the 60th centile so all good. My partner is convinced we aren't making it to c-section date though and he'll be here mid June, so we will see!

Ooh thanks, this is a good idea! Just seeing it all infront of me has completely freaked me out and I’ve no idea where to start 🤣

It’s so hard isn’t it! I’m not convinced the bag I have is even remotely big enough but I’ve committed to it now. 🤣

I’ve bought some fake crocs from Primark but now I fancy some Birkenstocks but need to save for the baby!

On a side note what can I expect at a growth scan? Do they check everything again?

At mine today there was just a lot of measuring of his head, body and thigh bone, she checked his heart was beating away and then showed us his face and gave us a lovely pic of his face! She told us how much he weighed approx and then plotted it on the charts. Was fairly quick to be honest 😊 it's not as in depth as the 20 week scan at my trust anyway!

Well I've officially got to the point where I must look clearly pregnant to strangers as someone just looked at me on the tram and offered to give up their seat for me. I panicked and politely declined, but if any of you ever get trams in Manchester you'll realise what an absolute rarity that just was 😳😅

So now I can feel baby, am I supposed to be keeping track of movements in case of reduced movements? I currently don’t even get how? Like I felt them loads for like an hour this morning and nothing since lol

I feel you! 😂 I thought I’d been really organised when I’d packed 3x newborn babygrow/vests and 3x up to 1m babygrow/vests but now they’ve told us he’s giant I’m like do I pack up to 3m too? 12-18m? 2-3y?? 🤣 Do I take out the newborn or keep it incase the scans are wrong?? And nappies! I did have newborn packed but now I don’t know if I need size 1 too? They take up so much room!!

I’ve also done individual bags with 1 vest, sleep suit, nappy and a hat in for theatre. 1 newborn bag and up to 1m clearly labelled so Mr R isn’t searching through the bag to mess up my organisation.

I think with twins I’d maybe sort a straight away bag like someone said and then have little bags ready for Mr A to grab at home or in the car in tiny baby, newborn etc for when you know their size? Remember if they come early they might be in NICU so you won’t need clothes on day 1 anyway so you’ll have time to sort which size clothes to take!

In my experience, you’ll start to notice a pattern and you’ll instinctively know when it changes for you. You probably won’t feel a pattern just yet but as you get further on you will. For example I know Baby R is usually quite quiet in the morning except for after breakfast but in the evening he moves a lot and 1am he starts practising his gymnastics routines for a solid 2 hours. If he’s not moving around those times I really notice it.
If you are ever concerned about lack of movement now you’re feeling it though please go to your triage/MAU. They will always listen in and check to on baby and try to reassure you.

What week are you?

Re baby’s bag I’m using my change bag (cabin max travel hack) 1 shortie baby grow, 2 x leggings and top set (new born but as they’ve no feet or mitts I think they’ll fit 9lb) 2 x baby grow new born, 1 x baby grow 0-3, 2 x short sleeve vests, mitts, socks. Pre made formula and a bottle, microwave steralising bag, muslin x 2, dummy, nappies and wipes. Nail clippers, nipple cream, maybe nipple guards. Obviously might change if we’re going in early so know we’ll have a longer stay.

My bag will be a cabin bag with toiletries, nighties, shorts and big t-shirts, pair of leggings, knickers, disposable inco pants, maternity pads, headphones, fan, chargers, big insulated cup. Then I’ve got a small cool bag for snacks and OH’s stuff will go in my bag.
