I can confirm it’s definitely a thing. I had a very strong feeling throughout pregnancy I was having a girl and I wanted to see if I was right (I was). It definitely motivated me after 37 hours to push!Someone once told me that that is a thing, unsure how true it is but I see the logic![]()
Check your company policy for pregnancy related sickness absences - they don’t go against us in my place of work!feel like i've been jabbed to pieces today! had my GD blood tests, whooping cough in one arm.. flu jab in the other! glad it's done but feel it should be illegal to be forced into the office after these things![]()

I feel that. If I sit down for too long, I ache. If I move for too long, I ache. If I sleep on one side for too long, I ache. I think nesting has started though as I just found myself asking my husband when I last cleaned the skirting boardsHow are all you lovely third trimester ladies getting on?
33 weeks tomorrow and getting to the point where going to work is uncomfortable, sitting at home is uncomfortable, thinking is uncomfortable and sleeping is non-existentAlso, TMI but I'm suddenly constipated as anything which is a lovely new symptom

Omg yes the nesting has also started in my house. I must have hoovered the nursery about 6 times over the weekendI feel that. If I sit down for too long, I ache. If I move for too long, I ache. We have officially finished baby furniture wise and it's just smaller things like a bottle warmer & nappy bin left. Going to Costco (Costcoum for my fellow Bistans) next week to get nappies and wipes etc. It's all getting a bit real!
Starbucks dies the trick with me, I absolutely hate the coffee but it works to get things goingHow are all you lovely third trimester ladies getting on?

I’m 35 weeks and bump feels very very heavy. I’ve had the flu the last week and it seems to have solved my insomnia!!. I know when I get better I’ll be back to zero sleep. Start eating dates-they are excellent for constipation and the first toilet trip after baby but also there is research to suggest that frequent eating of them in the last few weeks of pregnancy can reduce time in labour (I’m willing to give anything a go!)How are all you lovely third trimester ladies getting on?

My husband said to me “you really hate being pregnant don’t you”, I said yes I wanted a baby, not 9 months of miseryFTM and now overdue. Still reasonably active which I can't complain about but I just want my baby here. But then again, I don't want to have to go through labour and I'm questioning why I ever got pregnant lol. It feels like a long wait being 40+ weeks with zero signs of it happening anytime soon!
I found I had to split my dog walks up into shorter walks and it made it so much more bareable especially the slower I have become! Otherwise I'd walk the dogs and that's all I'd do on a day off and felt like I wasted a day.I'm also 36 weeks and struggling loads todaywent on an hour long dog walk and it's done me in (it was a gentle, flat walk - no inclines at all) I feel like I'm starting to waddle. I feel so lethargic. There's loads I need to get done as well so I need to kick myself up the bum.
Sorry happy to read this! Well done xOne healthy little baby, all measuring perfectlyWe are Team Blue again, which even if the tech hadn't shown us was pretty obvious. The kid ain't shy
