Went for my anomaly scan this afternoon. Nervous but thankfully everything looks good and baby has everything they need. And we found out we’re having a little baby GIRL! 💕
Another girl yay 🥹 glad everything was all okay for you both!

So hot, so itchy, so irritable 😭 re the waking up on your back, as long as you go to sleep on your side it’s ok if you wake up on your back!

I have been to MAU today to check movements. They were fine. I do think it’s the heat but maternity assessment won’t judge you if you need to get in touch
Yes I was there this week too and they said they’ve been really busy cos of the heat!

Just peeking my head around the door as it’s very early days for me. Got my surprise positive yesterday so still in shock and trying to process it!

Hope you’re all managing to rest in this heat 🥵

I’m 31 weeks and feel huge - bought a belly band and it’s changed my life! I feel much more comfortable and supported with it.
Support bands are great! I’m 24 weeks and ready for a sudden explosion in weight gain, and I think the band will help with that.

Haha wow. I ate Mac and cheese as I was like craving something old school / didn’t even last 10mins in my system. Never happens. Baby clearly doesn’t want it. I generally thought something bad was happening and not vomiting- then that happened! So I feel blessed that happened 🤣

Feeling a bit fobbed off. 33 weeks pregnant, was sent up to hospital yesterday by my community midwife due to high blood pressure, protein in urine, headache, and visual disturbances. I'm high risk for pre-eclampsia and also had it in my previous pregnancy/after birth. Because the last 2 readings were just under the 'cut off' point I was sent home. I still have a headache now, my vision is still blurry, and I've had high BP readings at home for the last 3 weeks.

That's really awful! Would they see you at A&E or is that where you went? Seems really outrageous that just because you were just under the cut off point they sent you home. The protein in urine alone should be enough to get you seen properly! I hope you can get seen by someone and get some treatment.

Did anyone who suffered with nausea/morning sickness have it just suddenly go away even before the end of the first trimester?

Please keep going back until they take it seriously

I've been looking at getting one but it's a bit overwhelming to know what's best. Any suggestions please?
I got this one from Amazon BABYGO® 2 in 1 Pregnancy Belly Band - https://amzn.eu/d/0qUZbU
I went for the XL size as I am a 14 and the reviews said that would be best. It’s great and can be adjusted looser or tighter depending on whether you’re standing/sitting. It does get quite warm wearing it in this weather but is fine otherwise.

Yes this me. I’m almost 10 weeks and haven’t had any sickness in a week or so. I have felt nauseous still, though not for long periods… it’s very different to my first pregnancy in that way. I had my booking in appt yesterday and midwife said that every pregnancy really is different so trying to not worry too much (easier said than done!)

I'm 10 weeks too and also trying not to worry. I feel less alone now at least :)
