I tell the people who I would want to know if the worst happens. So family, close friends. It’s not like by keeping it a secret you in anyway affect the outcome, and having support during early pregnancy can be so important, even if the pregnancy continues.Hope no one minds me joining in. I am 7 weeks today (first pregnancy) and I have an early scan Friday to check heartbeat etc and I told a couple of close friends when I found out and I got a negative response with “oooh you shouldn’t have told people!”, why not? Women should be able to celebrate pregnancy from as soon as they find out, and if the worst happens it should also be encouraged to talk about. It’s nothing to be ashamed off and there’s still a massive stigma about not telling people and that annoys me. Why suffer in silence? It should be talked about openly and support groups encouraged.
@SkinnyTurkeyDinosaur I hope you are okay, let us all know xxx
I hope you are keeping well x
