@SkinnyTurkeyDinosaur i am so sorry my lovely, so very sorry for what you are going through and your loss. Please take care of yourself, and let others help you, I’m sure nobody you know would have wanted you alone outside the hospital last night at such an awful time. Let them help you out.

Sending you love xx

Thank you so much everyone on here for being so lovely and I don't think I would've even went hospital if it wasn't for people on here being like you should go. I got to the hospital at 10.30 last night and didn't get out until 5am, after a lot of tests, had a drip, they checked me down there. The doctor said it is a early miscarriage and I just need to go home and rest, take tablets for the pain and it shouldnt be as bad in a few days and the stress not eating and everything will be affecting me a lot as well. So I then had to go speak to a psychologist cos they were worried about me because I was just so stressed, tired, confused, crying I kept having to ask them to repeat everything they just said. Then he said I could leave and it was 5am I had no one with me and no way of getting home cos I didn't want to phone and ask anyone because I'd wake them up, first bus wasn't until 7 and I explained to the security guy can I just sit inside here I've been seen but it's so cold and I'm in so much pain because the seats outside is so uncomfortable and I need to charge my phone and he was like no we can't have you inside here if youve been seen because of coronavirus so I was just standing outside for two hours crying in pain then got the bus at seven, got home at eight and went to sleep for a bit so just thought I'd let you all know that I'm okay at least I went to the hospital so I know now although it was really hard and I still feel so awful and in pain the now but I will be fine soon hopefully Xx
Im so so sorry, and I'm heartbroken you were on your own. As a midwife I can categorically state it wasn't your fault. Drinking how you did would not have caused this. Sadly at times these things happen and nothing anyone does can prevent it. Please know you have all our love on this thread and we are here for you. Sending you an over the Internet hug xxxx

@SkinnyTurkeyDinosaur you have been on my mind all day and yesterday. Wish I could just come and give you a big hug ❤

I’ve got a few choice words about the hospital (I’m a nurse, I cannot stand hearing about poor care!!) but I will have my rant offline. I’m so sorry they left you outside and I’m sorry you’re in pain. That wasn’t fair or kind ❤

Please be gentle with yourself - there was nothing you could have done and nothing you did to cause this. It is a very sad, hard fact of life that is so painful and so common. I know it’s easier said than done but please try not to point fingers at yourself ❤

I’m sorry to hear that, I don’t think miscarriage is talked about enough, seeing what skinnyTurkeydinosaur is going through is making me be very realistic about my pregnancy, I’m trying not to get attached. But alot of people seem to talk like once you are pregnant that it’s a given it will be ok. It’s really opened my eyes to be honest. I’m heartbroken for our friend here and I’m just taking things step at a time. I do think it’s should be talked about more.
Sending everyone love who’s had a mc, and who knows it may happen to me. We never know what’s intended do we? Much love and hugs xx
Sending you a big hug too ❤

I agree with what the others have said - please try and find positives to focus on. I have a horrendous history - my son was a 35 weeker, my daughter was a crash c-section at 30 weeks and I was put to sleep, I then had a mc and our youngest after that was a 33 weeker.

I really struggled after my daughter and after my mc. But I loved being pregnant. I love my babies. Sure, I’d have loved beautiful home births with dolphins and fireworks and pizza and what have you but that wasn’t on the cards for us. My youngest’s birth was really empowering, I even got a shot in the pool thanks to my midwife. I’m a neonatal nurse and I have seen every side of a story and I still would tell people that they should be excited about their pregnancy.

@SkinnyTurkeyDinosaur i think im right in saying you're very young and very vulnerable right now. I hope you live with a supportive family or have good friends. Be sure to talk about what happened.

I am so sorry @SkinnyTurkeyDinosaur. Please be assured that nothing you did caused this to happen. I lost a baby at 10 weeks in January and I couldn’t understand why it had happened, but the fact is sometimes these tit things are just out of our control. Please have plenty of rest and look after yourself. We’re all here for you if you need to talk.

I want to send love to all the ladies on this thread, so many stories of loss and hard roads to motherhood, and so many who haven’t started the journey yet but are supporting others. X

This is what women supporting women looks like and it's beautiful.

I'm sending my love to all who have experienced heartache and loss and I urge you not to blame yourself. I've never been pregnant so I can imagine it's easier said than done but know you have support here if you don't feel like you have enough support around you xx

I'm so sorry to hear this. You must feel devastated right now but I really hope that you find the strength to deal with your loss. This year has added emotional strain to life in general so I hope that you have people you can reach out to about this, to help you process it as it must feel extremely overwhelming for you. Sending you so much love.

@SkinnyTurkeyDinosaur how are you keeping?

@Upintheair83 how are you feeling too?
Ahhh thanks for thinking of me, I’m good thanks. I can’t lie and say I’m not absolutely terrified! My feelings seem to change on the hour and I find myself staring into thin air such a lot. I’m so happy and excited but then it’s also come with so many other emotions, I’m just totally overwhelmed and I feel like my mind isn’t my own. Iv been having a lot of nausea and going off food, and sleepless nights with worry- but I’m also very realistic with what happened to the lovely @SkinnyTurkeyDinosaur Iv been thinking about her a lot and almost mentally preparing for it to happen to myself. I don’t take it for granted and I know that there’s nothing I can do if it does. I feel abit in a limbo. But I’m very grateful that Iv managed to just get pregnant, I honestly didn't think it would ever happen to me. Xx
