Positive pregnancy test

I am so invested in this. You will have to definitely do a follow up, although the tests you did seem to imply you are pregnant, especially the first positive. You said you were happy about it and I am so happy for you :).

This is such a lovely thread so excited for you 😄 My nausea hit me at around 4 weeks on this pregnancy (my third) but I had a false negative and left it at that just assumed that I was sick as I have been ill on and off this year. Then I missed another period and thought I should take another test, very clearly pregnant. So yes false negatives do happen and nausea can come at different times with every pregnancy
I hope everything works out for you. I would say you probably don't need to keep holding your pee in if it keeps waking you, I'm sure you could do the test soon as if you have been sleeping/resting for a while your pee should be stronger now to give a result. If you haven't been drinking water throughout the night then your body will be dehydrated which causes your urine to be more concentrated for a more accurate reading.

Just found this thread, best of luck.

As far as I'm aware a line is a line, no matter how faint.

Someone here said they did a bunch of tests out of excitement, I did the same! I just loved watching the second line come up, then I'd jump up and down like I've just found out for the first time. The excitement is unreal. I'm happy for you internet stranger 🤗

P.S. sometimes there's bleeding in the early weeks. I had bleeding and cramps at 6-7 weeks (implantation bleeding). Just something I wish someone had told me, because I cried like crazy and skipped work ❤

Those digitals are so exciting when you actually see it in writing! Although waiting for the result is pure torture!

Congrats! Just the one is enough but I usually take one each morning for two or three days as I like to see the line getting stronger. You can contact your GP right away, but unless there’s any other reasons, you won’t be seen by anyone until your booking in appointment with a midwife between 8-11 weeks.

Thank you so much! I’m on beta blockers for my heart so I know I will have to come off them, so I will need to ring and find out what I need to do next regarding my heart.
