This is the Walids all over. Beggy behaviour for things they can more than afford to buy themselves. It’s so embarrassing. How do they even have the balls to ask companies for pr packages? I don’t even have the balls to ask the waiter in a restaurant for more napkins. 😂
Also, so much for ‘not posting the child’! Posting the child, without posting the childs face is the exact same thing. Idiots.
If they do decide to gift the unused or not needed items, it will be made into a whole reel to showcase to their stupid followers that they’re oh so charitable.

This!!! It’s the fact that they can afford these things yet still begging for freebies!! Like she actually reached out to brands whilst being pregnant, before the big announcement and begged for free things!! The audacity when they can clearly afford the best of the best😱

Did any one really expect her not to monetise the baby phase? It's a new dimension for her. Motherhood blogs and selling that lifestyle. Congrats to her. Her fans are loyal and fickle. But that's social media for you. Agree her life seems to be shallow. Evolved around the next ad opportunity and grooming her following. Most desi families are overwhelmed by family and the in-laws piling in when a baby arrives. That phase will come. But she carefully curates it and other than the glimpse of her sister there is not much in the form of spontaneous family joy. It's not your typical desi or average family set up. More an extended ad campaign around her and herself. Even Abz is a carefully curated narrative. Now the doting supporting husband without whom she wouldn't have coped....

…With her sister and her sisters friends. Another reminder that she actually has NO friends of her own.
hopefully being a mother will mean she’ll have to interact with other mothers leading to friendship other baby is going to grow up quite isolated.

So poonam accepted the Pr gifts from tommee but also admitted she uses another (more expensive 🙄) brand of breast pump in real life. Why are these companies so dumb to send stuff to influencers who don’t even genuinely use/want/need items.

And she admitted to using MAM bottles after raving about the Tommee Tippee bundle and how good the bottles were. She clearly needs this influencer ‘job’ more than she claims to. The other ‘4 streams of income’ can’t be all that lucrative if she needs to be on socials filming and posting stuff to earn money/receive freebies. GTFO Instagram poonam and enjoy the baby you’ve wanted for over a decade!!

I am very happy that they have had a baby but for the love of god can she stop with the throwback pics that state how many months pregnant she was. It seems she documented her pregnancy all along with the intention to share it all once baby was earth side. Bore off not the first woman to be pregnant and won’t be the last Poonam

It’s ironic really, she says she didn’t share the pregnancy because it’s a special private time fir her and abz etc etc. But is now sharing it all anyway, mostly through her Q&A’s which we all know she asks herself

Someone asked if she felt guilt about having a baby later in age. This would’ve been an ideal opportunity to use her platform to share, what most likely was a long and testing time and process to successfully conceive and have the baby. I’m sure many are in a similar position and it can be reassuring to hear of successful outcomes and the journey that led to it, or just to know that others have struggled too.

Instead she’s implied it was almost intentional as they’ve been enjoying married life, travelling, renovating their home and establishing their careers. I do not believe for one second she intentionally delayed having a baby until age 39.

I find the desperation to portray everything in her life as perfect is pretty pathetic.

Agree with everything the PP said. It’s okay to admit that BECAUSE of the difficulties in conceiving they took advantage of the time to travel etc etc but I don’t believe for a moment that they deliberately waited till their 40’s to have a baby.

Guess some people never learn! She’s so fake & full of BS
It took me years to talk about my fertility struggles, I wanted to enjoy what I have rather than relive the trauma. Hopefully she talks about it, we don't need to know the ins and outs of it.

Of course she doesn’t need to share the ins and out. But as someone who has gone through Fertility struggles, it really grinds my gears when people pretend that they weren’t even trying or deny that they even went through any fertility treatment (when it is so blatantly obvious). I feel like this further enforces the stupid notion (especially in south Asian culture) that you need to be ashamed of infertility. In our culture, you don’t talk about it, don’t let people know and if you are lucky enough to have a baby deny, deny, deny! Act like everything is perfect & pretend that you were just waiting/enjoying life.

Fertility problems are hard as it, but my God, infertility in the south Asian community is so much more difficult than it needs to be. As if it wasn’t hard enough, all the cultural BS is actually harder. The most hypocritical thing is that all the attitudes towards Fertility are so totally against the religion (Islam) and it is all just cultural, hypocritical nonsense.

I’m not saying she owes us anything, and I completely understand if the trauma is too raw for her to talk about. But if she were to actually mention it instead of creating this fairytale notion, I would actually have a bit of respect for her

Someone please tell them that newborns aren’t meant to sleep through the night. Can’t believe they’ve hired a sleep consultant ( no doubt an ad when she does disclose the details) so they can all get 7 hours of sleep a night.

It’s the instagrammable thing to do! Every z lister gets a sleep consultant on day 3-5 of the child being born when the realisation that baby’s aren’t meant to sleep 10 hours a night kicks in. It’s in the Guide to a Basic Content Creator/LUXE MUMMY! Lolllll! (I must say I laughed out loud when I saw that in her bio)

the fertility issues were no secret amongst family/friends and even acquaintances so I really despise how they’re treating this pregnancy like a finely planned moment when they were done ‘enjoying being married’. Everyone knows it’s bull. They went through a whole process to lose weight to be accepted by the ivf clinic

Honestly she’s ridiculous! She’s updated her bio to include “Luxe Mummy” like begging for “begging for freebies, lying about how great they are then using another brand”

Not sure why she’s only included the gift of Junior stocks from her sister in the grid post when R Koddus (this is Abz’s family right) give some pretty nice gifts also. She’s still trying way too hard to give the impression that their old money 🥱

The luxe Mummy made me laugh as well! You’ve hit the nail on the head with the Fertility & pregnancy stuff. It’s all just so fake and she’s so desperate to portray this perfect old money lifestyle which is all just lies lmao

Parenting is going to be so humbling for these two as baby gets older as there’s a limit to how many problems money will solve for them.

I have a relative who recently had a baby after over a decade of fertility treatments and multiple losses (none of it kept secret and the younger generation were very supportive - older generation not so much sadly) and she’s elbow deep in motherhood. Her baby wakes up every 45 minutes, she’s had a traumatic birth, baby has reflux so it’s not an easy ride but she’s so deliriously happy and totally embracing her new role.

I don’t actually get that vibe from poonam, not saying she’s not a good mum but she is definitely far too concerned about the aesthetics of being a new mum.

Do you not think her hubby finds it embarrassing? There was a point i thought that they were trying to be a power couple...a brummie desi verson of Clooney and Amal. But this shameless advertising of baby products by her is tacky. The Gucci dresses from.her SIL screamed we are desperate to show money, money, money. It.seems to run across.the family.

Nah he’s just as shallow as she is, that’s why they make such a perfect couple.

I wonder whether they’ll move house.
