Completely agree, it was also very calculated of him to post it on an Instagram story where he would be seen to acknowledge such a tragic event but people would be unable to comment.

Someone mentioned work experience they did #hubstarfortheday at Good Morning because MM tweeted that he would love to be considered have a feeling its 2016 .It was in the last thread but there are videos on YouTube. I think PS got them to send in videos. And him and HW would pick the best.
Iām not party to itv and any information about their support so Iām prepared that someone will know better but I read she was expected to return to LI in the summer and had to have time off in the meantime as there was a legal case going on. Ant also had a year off to deal with his issues. I donāt see an enormous difference, though Schofield appears to be a different kettle of fish entirely.

Be Kind is PS philosophy. Him and HW do this mental health- bullying camapign and #BeKind is the slogan or name.
Disagree, ITV are acting like these shows would collapse without Ant/PS presenting, but there are literally hundreds more talented people who could fill their roles and probably improve the ratings. Seems to me like ITV just give too much power to undeserving (male) presenters.

Perhaps thats deflection. It just wouldnt make sense as no one would care. Lesbian and Gay is so acceptable in the UK and television has plenty of open lesbians and gays.

I havenāt said the shows would collapse - it is down to public perception so if āthe Great British publicā see Ant & Dec as one of the best things on TV then ITV will of course put the maximum tariff on advert slots during their programmes. It is the public who are driving this - just look at what happens in November when the major supermarkets launch their Christmas adverts - their first airing will always be in whatever programme is getting the highest viewer figures.
I donāt get this comparing Caroline Flack to Phil Or Ant.
Phil hasnāt done anything illegal, whatever you may think of his announcement.
Ant I can understand the comparison a bit more, but he did step back from his presenting duties. He went to court for what he did and then spent time in Rehab.
Caroline hadnāt even stood trial yet and was charged with domestic abuse. Whatever the circumstances with her mental health she couldnāt continue with her presenting until it had been sorted. There would have been a big outcry if sheād been allowed to present loveisland while this was all going on.
What has happened is such a shame of course and itās a shame she didnāt get help when she clearly needed it. I just donāt see why people are comparing it.

The gall of him saying that. Perhaps if ITV had been kind she wouldnāt have felt so hopeless. Typical of him to use a tragedy to try and make it looks like he cares about anyone other than himself.

I get what you are saying , but I think any forward thinking, progressive company would understand that no presenter is bigger than the show, especially mediocre ones like PS and Ant. Someone who nearly kills a family after drink driving should not be brought back on a mainstream TV program imo.

Didnt Ant say he step back due to injury? and also rehab...a good idea to stepback seeing what he was doing.. it was a drink drive accident right??? There was a youngster involved right or wrong? He is a family tv presenter if he went on TV he wouldve been talked about in the newspapers etc daily...
People wouldve said "how is he on TV still" etc????
Perhaps it was smart he backed off. less likely gossip..lets face it I read on a thread on here it may have been more of a story than reported....

Yup, it's plain to see there are huge abuses of power going on at ITV and that power is rooted in misogyny.
