I feel the same way. Just can't understand why they're still doing the happy family thing. She may still love him but as a friend surely. She is an idiot, maybe she will divorce when she gets her head around it all, it may take a long time to fully sink in, what must she think of everyone in showbiz saying they all knew? That’s got to hurt, it’s almost like PS told some folks openly except the people that matter.
When will that ever happen?! Presenting looks easy as hell so why such a massive yearly wage?
It will happen when people stop watching them. I stopped at the beginning of lockdown only watch clips here and there now or if Ruth and Eamon are on. He’s become insufferable even Holly looks fed up sometimes from what I’ve seen.
I honestly think they're together because it looks better to the majority of the This Morning demographic. Obviously we're mostly hyper critical of PS here but on social media he has ladies of a certain age defending his every move, the fact that Steph is still with him really reinforces the nice guy image. The second PS's management whisper in his ear that staying married is doing him more harm than good, he'll drop her like a hot potato. Not that she's a victim. I think she's totally complicit.
Disagree about presenting! I think there's definitely a level of skill to it.
Mmmn if you make up your own things to say then presenting is more difficult but PS reads from an autocue and puts on a certain voice when discussing issues, sad and sympathetic, or angry, or funny and the questions for their guests are all discussed beforehand and most likely not all his own questions so imo being a presenter on TM ain’t difficult at all.
I don’t think PS getting a divorce would upset his career, he has came out as gay and his supporters are all still supporting him and he is nearly 60 so may well be off TV in the next few years, however the cynic in me thinks he is too full of his own self importance to stop working, most celebs never stop until they are made to stop. I don’t think Steph was complicit until she found out and even then, it’s only been 3/4 months since he came out and not long enough for Steph to be able to think straight about what she wants.
Also all the MM stuff is out there for all to see and whilst we don’t know what exactly happened then he did lie about not knowing MM as a kid when there is a picture around that shows his lies about that, straight away, I am leaning towards PS being a predator that likes older boys and not men, I want to know what Steph thinks of these rumours and all his crisis management stuff, and the amount of cash he has used to shut it all down, she must be bleeping gullible AF.
I suppose it’s possible that Steph has a lot of dirt on PS and so she’s the one in control, not him? The fact that he was probably forced to come out a bit earlier than he wanted (if he wanted to at all) has complicated things somewhat.

I do think you need a certain level of charisma to be a good tv presenter and the right persona. I’d be rubbish even with auto cue as I just can’t speak in front of people, it’d just be me standing there like a plank of wood reading the words like a script

i believe that to be crap otherwise the media would’ve seen her out and about with him and there is no reason for them to still be married if this is the case, the secret is out and he still has his TV job, it’s 2020 and their girls are grown up, I just think Steph isn’t ready to give him up yet but I hope to dear God she comes to her senses sometime soon.

I think his wife will have known for a long time hes gay (I've heard it was a lavender marriage) I mean, it's great that they all seem to be able to carry on but I'll never get over the fact that he deceived the public for 20 odd years
