Yeah true, a lot of what we see is pure PR and deals that have been made behind the scenes. Take nothing you see at face value. I was reading the website of Phil Hall Agency (the crisis management company that the Daily Mail reported PS had hired) and they are very open about how they will help their clients manage a crisis, including liaising with / challenging the press, managing how you appear online / content creation, getting negative stuff taken down, etc. I wish more people knew how these celebs operated.

I mean it's certainly deception to the public, because all his peers knew. It was an open secret in the industry, right. So the lie was just to the public so that he could maintain a certain image. Which fair enough, if you are worried about homophobia, but this man is literally sitting on TV judging other people's private lives and telling women who have the "audacity" to travel in a car with a married man 'my wife would be all over you if that was me'. Knowing what we now know, he deserves an Oscar, truly.
I hope one day the tables turn on these PR companies (and of course the tabloids, who co-conspire with them) who exist to sell us lies and cover ups on behalf of their rich clients. Newspapers are full of PR stories every day - we have not one clue about what is really going on, because all we are fed is a bunch of BS to cover up what the papers really know. (Unless it's a half decent person in the public eye, and then the papers will tear them down and destroy them for daring to breathe.)
We've all seen Starsuckers, right? How Max Clifford used to represent clients such as Simon Cowell, who was paying him £250K a year to cover something up (who knows what?) His job was to protect clients who 'indulged in' extremely dubious behaviour by the sound of it
This is standard across the board, I'm sure people on forums such as this are perfectly aware. It's very cringeworthy when you see people defending their heroes because they believe everything that is being told to them. We are a gullible nation indeed.

I saw a bit of TM for the first time in a while today and agree. When they were ready to ask questions of Hancock, just as they were about to I think something made PS go off again on a tangent but Holly was about to ask the 1st question then when it came to starting, she opened her mouth to talk and he interrupted and steamrollered ahead. She didn't do a quite good enough job of hiding her annoyance at that, and even then he made it all about himself and his parents. He needs to be taken off that show asap.

It seems Matt has a few famous faces who follow and comment on his insta.
It looks like he also took a months break from social media when all hell broke lose after Schofe came out and he had almost 500 people like his post that said “Smile & Be Kind” and people welcoming him back and showing messages of support. Including from Coleen Nolan.
Looking further into his social media it looks like the last time he was with Schofe in a post was in October, in an attic room of a house (I can only assume they’d be filming how to spend it well?) Schofe had given him dog crisps but told him they were plain crisps, Schofe wasn’t in shot but you can hear him. And you can hear Matt wretching in disgust.
A few more female faces at ITV comment and like his content though so I wonder who really knows. If cameramen and crew knew they were together, how much did he confide in his closer friends and famous faces? My theory is that he got on well with the Loose Women ladies and they were a Mum type figure to him (my guess is his main support comes from Ruth). He’d have likely done whats called ‘dailies’ on the show whilst working at this morning as its common for runners to hop between shows to keep their work flowing and network. But between Oct 19 & Dec 19 something must have gone wrong.
I note that the ITV Xmas party was Dec 6th according to a post on Matt’s insta. And that same week the press reported on the allegations of bullying. Coincidence? Who knows. But when you match up dates from his social media and events that have happened that we know about from press reporting etc it kinda all fits into place somehow. I just need more info to connect those dots to confirm that it slots into place rather than making the boot fit myself.
Meanwhile it looks like he’s stuck out in California due to the lockdown either side of the pond. So I wonder if he has a job with Loose Women to come back to when he’s home. Has he been furloughed? Did he even have a contract? Or was he a casual freelancer like most junior staff in television.

I think shes been trying to subtly move away from him. She isnt as 'laughy' with him (saying that, I havent watched the pair of them together for a while) but some clips I've seen shes grimaced or hasnt laughed along as much as she use to.
If she was wise she'd get rid of him, altho I cant really stand her these days either

I put something similar on Facebook though I mentioned his wife as it wasn't clear at the time whether she knew. I got dogs abuse as a homophobe from two twats who I've since blocked, both gay. One actually said he understood where I was coming from when I said it was the deception that I was annoyed by, then jumped on the homophobic bandwagon when the other mouth started in. Idiots.This
He is particularly jarring because he felt he was untouchable and by all accounts a total ass to work with. There are those that are successful who I believe what you see is what you get - Alison Hammond as one example from ITV. To come out all of a sudden one random Friday morning and try to garner sympathy and continue to lie to the public about how and why all of a sudden he did this ( thank you Joan) was the most cringeworthy attempt to further bullshit his audience. A completely self absorbed prick.

And we somehow got talking about the Beckham’s and how their whole marriage is fake, it’s for the press and it’s just for the sake of money and how they’re a British export etc. And it turns out David will be out at up market clubs and bars for nights out and he’ll send one of his team over to a girl he likes and they’ll say something like “David wants to spend some time with you this evening, please sign this NDA” and from there he basically spends the evening with them and goes back to wherever.
And apparently Victoria likes big muscular and hung black men
Also - just had word from my friend that his mate (who’s a girl) has been asked out by Matt McGreevy. So he’s bisexual (again, not that it matters) but I’m a bit stumped because I just figured he was gay.
