Same. I went to this tour now and it was CRAP. I find hecklers annoying but the whole idea is it tests a comedian but his standup is such a robotic act that he doesn’t know what to do, a lot of other comedians will use a heckler as part of a joke.
He clearly hasn’t improved then with time, I just checked and it was his 2010 tour I saw him on so he’s had 15 years to sort that out.
What was weird about that though, she shouted we love you Peter after he chucked the heckler out then chucked her out too…. Odd man!
I used to be a fan and bought all his DVDs. The last tour he milked two out of it, including BTS, and there are a few bits with hecklers, and he handles them well. There is a woman who is pissed and keeps yelling, one of the things being we love you, Peter, and he got her to the front of the stage and had a laugh with her. The only time you saw any issue was when he talked about his nan getting hurt and a couple of lads laughed, and he called them out then moved on.
That’s the problem though, he called her to the front of the stage. When you encourage hecklers to this extreme it encourages others to start for the attention too. He should be cutting them straight down in a comedic way
Yeah exactly. If this is how he treated fans, I would hate to think how he would react to the idiots who go just to cause tit.
Maybe it's just the fact that he known not to be nice as a person, so he's probably offended a few journalists in his time, but then I wouldn't be surprised if it's something more.
There have been people who 'know' that Peter was unwell people who 'know' it was his wife and others who 'know' it was one of his children.
