Peter Kay

The bloke who got removed for shouting garlic bread looks a right twit as well. The kind of man who thinks he’s hilarious when he’s actually about as funny as explosive diarrhoea
Peter is about as hilarious as explosive diarrhea himself

See a bit of heckling in a small venue can be funny and does keep the comedian on their toes.

But in a huge arena there’s no back and forth and it usually is just someone all pissed up shouting nonsense. Kevin bridges got a bit of flak years back for employing security at his gigs and simply horsing people out, with the argument they’re not heckling in the true sense, just disrupting others enjoyment. In fact at one of his gigs someone was chucked out for being a belter, but to none of the fuss that’s come with the Peter Kay gig.

Based on what I've read and seen, including the transcript, I think there was fault on both sides. The hecklers sound like they were being a PITA to those surrounding them and are likely underplaying just how annoying they were being...or because they were perhaps canned up, their inhibitions were down and they 'don't remember.'

Despite the above, I also think PK went a bit over the top with the 'security arrangements.' He could have said something to the effect of (in his own style- am, just giving the gist, here), 'Calm down. You've had your 15 minutes. Wind it in or we'll be seeing you off!' But no. He gets very personal and quite nasty in reference to how the security guards should deal with it. No need for that, really.

I really want to play the world's smallest violin at the heckler claiming how bruised and battered he was following the 'incident', though. Come on, mate. I can see your 'compo face' in HD.

Loving this story, the hecklers are absolute Main Character Energy pricks, can't stand having to listen to drunken nobodies shouting out when I'm at a show. But I also dislike Peter Kay so it's win-win

Peter Kay sounds like he's on deaths door now. Probably shouldn't have been large Peter, you hypocrtial unfunny bleep.
he survived leukemia, I don't like the fella but being chubby didn't cause his health issues and he doesn't deserve to be unwell

I'm sure if she looked like Beyonce he wouldn't of called her Beyonce 🙄🤦‍♀️🤣
Exactly, he wouldn't have said it if it was considered a compliment (although i should add there is nothing wrong with Lisa Riley, but she’s obviously known for being bigger and dressing in an over the top way because her Emmerdale character did). There’s no way he would have said “On your way, Jennifer Lawrence” or “See ya, Scarlett Johansson”.

I have never seen or heard a funny heckler and they just ruin it for everyone else and make themselves look like a prat. I will die on that hill 😂

She does look a bit like Lisa Riley but would he really have been able to see her face clealy from the stage? More likely it was a jibe about her weight. Also I don't think she deserved to be kicked out, she wasn't really heckling like the other guy.

I’m not a big fan of stand up comedy full stop! Find it all a bit cringe! I loved Phoenix Nights though

Did he defo have leukaemia?
No one knows for sure. A few in the secret gossip thread said he was seen in Christies a few times, which, for those who don't know, is a cancer treatment centre in Manchester during the time he was keeping a low profile.
