For me the very worst part of peri menopause has been the driving anxiety. I’ve never been a confident driver but now it’s hell.
I have to drive too. No choice. Some days I can’t eat with the worry I’m so scared.

Oh I see! Thankfully I don’t have any gut or reflux issues.. thanks ☺
to combat issues with damage/irritation to the lining of your stomach and reflux you can line your stomach with milk before you take it. It being an alkaline balances the acid and the protein gives the stomach digestion something to work on like when you take tablets with food.

just for anyone who thinks this might be helpful.

for much later when the meaning of this is lost in the thread.

I should clarify I was talking about ibuprofen in this post sorry I should have said rather than just calling it it 😳

I’d recommend getting bloods done and see what you need from there. I know supplements help some people but a lot are a con too. My doc says it’s best to supplement what you lack and go from there. Lots taking advantage of the current “ interest ” in peri / meno etc. I take calcium and D3 and they are cheap as chips. Ferritin when I need. Best of luck x
Beyond a b12 check I don’t think doctors here test for anything vitamin related.

Another strange one... eyesight considerably worse at random times 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can't pinpoint it to any particular causes, and it happens at various times in various places. I mentioned it to the optician a while back and apparently it's normal for 'ladies over 40' 🙄

I've been talking to some friends who have been through the meno. We decided that you either get brain fog and anxiety, or you get RAGE. I'm getting rage.
I'm also getting semi-permanent thrush. Sorry for the TMI.

I got rage, then I got the others later. I don’t think the rage will last
ETA wash all your knickers on hot with vinegar, halve your detergent and don’t use softener. The vinegar kills the yeast that can be left in the washing with the heat and the other stuff is just to limit irritation.
Don’t let your feet touch your knickers either. It may all sound mad but I’ve lived by this rule and I don’t get thrush.

Me too, my prescription changed x2 in 12 mths. I use drops from Tesco first thing in a morning as this is when the dryness is worse for me. Night time is itchy ears 😣😣
