I gave up driving altogether because of it so you are bloody amazing to keep going xFor me the very worst part of peri menopause has been the driving anxiety. I’ve never been a confident driver but now it’s hell.
I have to drive too. No choice. Some days I can’t eat with the worry I’m so scared.
I get it even as a passenger. Terrifying. So sorry you re going through it.For me the very worst part of peri menopause has been the driving anxiety. I’ve never been a confident driver but now it’s hell.

to combat issues with damage/irritation to the lining of your stomach and reflux you can line your stomach with milk before you take it. It being an alkaline balances the acid and the protein gives the stomach digestion something to work on like when you take tablets with food.Oh I see! Thankfully I don’t have any gut or reflux issues.. thanks![]()
for much later when the meaning of this is lost in the thread.to combat issues with damage/irritation to the lining of your stomach and reflux you can line your stomach with milk before you take it. just for anyone who thinks this might be helpful.
Same here!! Cleared them sweats right upI'm telling you girls, Wegovy works wonders at helping perimenopause. My night sweats are gone, my stomach pooch is going, I'm thinking clearly again and anxiety is heaps better
Beyond a b12 check I don’t think doctors here test for anything vitamin related.I’d recommend getting bloods done and see what you need from there. I know supplements help some people but a lot are a con too. My doc says it’s best to supplement what you lack and go from there. Lots taking advantage of the current “ interest ” in peri / meno etc. I take calcium and D3 and they are cheap as chips. Ferritin when I need. Best of luck x
Best thing I ever did. Am hoping it means I can not worry about HRT. Time will tell I guess.Same here!! Cleared them sweats right up![]()
Was this from doctors or private?Best thing I ever did. Am hoping it means I can not worry about HRT. Time will tell I guess.
Where are you in your peri menopause journey? Eg. How long since your last period?Best thing I ever did. Am hoping it means I can not worry about HRT. Time will tell I guess.
Dr's. I used an online one called Youly. Was this from doctors or private?
Actually couldn't tell you as I skip all periods with the pill. Haven't had one in years. I'm 43 and have had the sweats for about a year.Where are you in your peri menopause journey? Eg. How long since your last period?
You shouldn't need to. I know some GPs are still in the dark ages plus please persevere.Has anyone paid privately to see a menopause specialist. Is it worth doing.
I got rage, then I got the others later. I don’t think the rage will lastI've been talking to some friends who have been through the meno. We decided that you either get brain fog and anxiety, or you get RAGE. I'm getting rage.
I'm also getting semi-permanent thrush. Sorry for the TMI.
My eyesight got worse in peri and I also have really dry eyes now.Another strange one... eyesight considerably worse at random timesI can't pinpoint it to any particular causes, and it happens at various times in various places. I mentioned it to the optician a while back and apparently it's normal for 'ladies over 40'
