Yes I get this but as my periods are all over the place I don’t know if it’s ovulation pain but this month the day I got my period I had that pain on both sides, it was really painful. My period was also extremely painful and heavy.
For me, the pain isn't extreme at all. It's just niggly but I'm constantly aware if it.

Anyone recommend anything for snoring? I snore like a train at certain times of the night the last year or so and I have to share a room on holiday. I don't want to be smothered by a pillow - any solutions?

Is spotting between periods a peri thing ?
On the whole my periods are usually pretty regular. I've had the odd unexpected one but they've settled into a new , shorter cycle.
I spot bleed about a week before I come on.

I’ve just 40 ans I feel like change is happening,
The last few months I’ve had headaches about 10 days before I’m on, so bad not even painkillers help!
This cycle is all over the place, I stopped tracking on my health app and I have no clue! My last period was 3 days light and pain free! I wear a cup n it wasn’t nearly as full after a day/ night. But since Friday night I’ve had awful cramp like pains felt like I was constipated, today ita been like a dull pain, my friend said it could be ovulationing.
I’m due my smear but don’t want to book it till I’ve sussed out my cycle again!

I'm feeling much less alone after reading these pages. Thanks to you all for sharing. I'm waiting for LH and FSH tests.

I'm 37, have regular periods but they're much heavier than they used to be and painful. GP who examined me said I have vaginal atrophy - she didn't need to tell me. My last smear was agony despite nurse using the smallest speculum. At the time I put it down to PTSD due to SA. I have zero moisture and no elasticity. Even sitting down funny can cause my vagina to tear near my perineum or just above my clitoral hood.

I have no sex drive despite previously having a high one. It's been going on since about August 2021. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2022 but now I see lots of crossover with peri/early meno. The doctor I saw couldn't have been nicer. Of course because I booked a blood test for day 3 of my period (what I estimate), my period arrived early so now I'll either have to wait a month or hope there's been a cancellation.

My MH medicine no longer touches the sides. I don't know who I am anymore.

My mum had her last period aged 57. I thought I had more time. Child dreams were already dwindling but now they're dead.

The halo of sweat on my pillow each morning is grim. The frequent sweat/confusion spells in the day are horrifying.

I recently had an assessment to see if I needed to see a geneticist re breast cancer family history. My risk factor is 1%. I begin mammograms aged 40 and am currently too low risk to be given a genetic test. The assessor I saw with the breast screening clinic said to get in touch with any changes so if I'm given the go ahead for some sort of HRT I will go back to the screening people.

Again, the doctor I saw reassured me that we will tackle it together when my blood results are back.

I hate everyone, everything and every place. Simultaneously love everything so much that I cry frequently. Existentially I'm struggling.

Thank you to you all for sharing.

Also wanted to add that all my muscles in my upper arms have gone to shit - loose skin remains, i have spots all over my back, hair thinning, a huge belly but stick legs, I've rarely felt less attractive as a person. I used to take great pride and enjoyment in applying makeup. Now I don't see the point or joy in anything.

I keep mixing up numbers and forgetting if 13 comes before or after 14. It's a worry. 😔.
If you're still having periods then you can still become pregnant although I wouldn't leave it any longer.

It does sound like anemia. I only had it in pregnancy but was always tired. Dr said didn’t I notice!

I would ask at the hospital what your results were as surely it will be on their system ?
I'll speak to them on Friday. Funnily enough my flow has reduced this past couple of days and today I've felt more alive! Even got dressed and left the house! It's a bloody miracle 😂

I've been taking the Apple Spatone for about a week and have got some Chlorella and Spirulina capsules on the way so hopefully once this coils in and I get those in my system I shall be back to myself 🤞🤞

I'm not pinning too much on the coil though. I know they can be hit and miss but I will be very relieved to have the hysteroscopy 😘

Hello all, I am taking lenzetto spray and utrogestan pill every 15-26 days, however I've not had a period after this. Was I supposed too? If so, I haven't. When am I supposed to take the utrogestan again?

I hate perimenopause 😖

I got called back after my second mammogram. After another mammogram and a scan it was confirmed as a cyst by the consultant, it’s apparently very common when you’re on HRT. Although it’s worrying it was dealt with in a matter of days and such a relief to get the results immediately
I’ve got a dim and distant memory of taking my mum to the breast unit after a mammogram when I sit and think about it. Hers was a cyst as well I think, she’s sadly not around to ask anymore.

Ive gone through every emotion today and have settled on ‘can’t change anything’ and ‘it’s more likely it’s absolutely nothing’.
Thank you for your reassurance. You’re all helping me.

@Ruby Tuesday can I ask, we’re you advised to stop HRT?

I'm pretty sure you ovulate from alternate ovaries so, if it's the same side each time, it seems unlikely to be ovulation pain. Can't be any more help sorry. Hope you find a solution.
Yes, good point. I forgot about that. Its weird. Obviously the descending colon is in that region, too, so could be that.
