Has anyone used anything successfully for vaginal dryness - oh my lord it’s driving me a little bit insane
Not tried it but there is a newish product that I seen a few months ago on Instagram that is aloe based, it is called WooWoo. I would assume though that pure aloe would go the same thing

Hiya. Has anyone experienced teeth pain in perimenopause. It’s come out of the blue for me. Also terrible insomnia
My teeth have moved a lot. I also developed a jaw problem as well (basically facial spasms, been going on for 18 months now, don’t know if it’s age related)

You know if you're getting ovary pain - where about do you feel it? Is it more on the lower abdomen under the belly button or further down near the groin by the hip crease?

Anyone else experienced a huge impact on their sex life? It’s so hard for me to orgasm now (basically can’t without a bullet vibrator) and they’re so weak. Penetration is painful when it hits my cervix and also irritation down there after sex - itching and discomfort. Been single for years and now seeing someone and it’s getting me down because I want to enjoy sex 😰 I’m only 40. Still have fairly regular periods, but early menopause in the family - my mum was fully menopausal at 39.

Nope, Drs won’t speak to me until I’ve seen gyne. I’m getting some real gnarley pain’s which literally floor me for a good hour. I’m back to work on Monday. Bizarrely enough I work in a hospital too.
Oh bless you. I get Paramol from the pharmacy which helps ease pain, otherwise I don't know what to suggest. You can't be left like this for all that time 😪

I’m just 40, first lockdown I had a period that lasted over 100 Days. Gp gave me the tablets that stop your period. Was very irregular maybe 6 weeks between or 2 weeks ranging from heavy clots to light spotting. Started flushes a year ago. Currently not had a period since February…. But gp says it’s not peri or menopause
I could write something really similar. I started this sort of thing in my early 30s, but have a family history of early meno so thought it could be that. I had scans and tests, but no physical reason found for such weird cycles. The doctors basically shrugged and game me the pill. I most recently had a 40 day bleeding episode (you can't really call it a period, can you?!) and now I'm waiting to see when/if it starts again.

It's so helpful reading about other women's experiences, we're not so alone.

Very poor sleep at the moment - waking in early hours like clockwork every night and can take me hours to get back to sleep, so I’m tired every day. Anyone have any tips for sleep? I’ve tried magnesium, which a lot swear by, but it didn’t help me.

Also, does anyone suffer with muscle tension? Is this a peri thing? I get really tight muscles, especially in my upper back and neck. This is one of the reasons I can struggle to get back to sleep at night, because it tends to flare up then.

Can anyone recommend something that helps to keep you on an emotional keel? I find myself quick to get irritated these days and have little patience. I'm in the early stages of peri menopause and recently started taking vitamin D, a multi vitamin, iron and evening primrose oil. Thanks

I'm in my early 30s and I'm sure I'm at the start of peri menopause. Periods are coming closer together and lighter (I've always had very heavy and irregular periods). Not got any other signs though so maybe I'm being paranoid.

Order from the USA. Have a look at piping rock, I always order from them. Don’t order more than two bottles though or it might attract import. I take a 5mg dose but DH prefers a 3mg. Maybe start lower and increase if needed?
Do you swallow the tablet whole with a drink or do you let it dissolve on your tongue?

Mine arrived yesterday and I took the first one last night. I dozed off and slept for about an hour, after that I was awake and tossing and turning all night. I did sleep, but it was very broken sleep. And I'm now awake at silly o'clock...😭

Can i ask a question see if any of you have any advice. So im 38, i have always had fairly easy periods, not too heavy not too sore lasting 5 or 6 days. i am not on any birth control and have not been for about 2 years. In the last year my periods have gotten heavier and shorter but more painful. soaking through pads especially on day 2. That has never happened me before, the last few were also much more painful. i woke one night during my last one with very bad pain and heavy bleeding but only for 30/60 mins. Could this be the beginning of peri menopause?
Go to your GP. One word of warning though, the FSH test can only tell you if you are in peri, it cannot tell you you're not so if your GP runs that test and it comes back negative it doesn't necessarily mean anything because by its very nature peri is a time of fluctuating hormones irrespective of age.

I do worry about the long-term effects of our bodies being depleted of three vital hormones.

I still tend to hear, "If I can just get through it without hrt..." but then what? It's not like our hormones suddenly return and everything goes back to our pre-menopuase days 🤷🏻‍♀️
Stupid question but why do they deplete at such a young age.

I intended in reading through this thread and apologies in advance for some of the detail shared below:

I’m getting concerned that I may be going into early menopause- no history of it from either my grandmother nor mother, but I did hit puberty at around 9 years old and started my periods at 11, which I believe is a risk factor for early menopause?

I have very high oestrogen for my age (oestrogen dominance with low progesterone), but I’m concerned I may be going into early menopause as a few cycles ago I had my period early, which stopped after 4 days (which is normal for me) and barely two weeks later I went into a 11 day bleed- six days of it were like a day 2 bleed with significant clotting, which has always been normal for me (the clotting). In the end I had to intervene and use a progesterone cream to stop the bleed and was still getting break through bleeding for the next 2-3 days.

There’s no possibility of me being pregnant at the moment- I have PCOS, but no cysts, no fibroids and no endometriosis to my knowledge.

I was wondering if anyone had experienced something similar going into peri-menopause?
How old are you. I personally wouldn't consider anything in the 40's and above as particularly early. If you think that our fertility generally starts to drop off in our mid 30s anything after that is reasonable however it's important to rule out other reasons regardless of age.

I’m on the mini pill and don’t get periods but in the last few months keep getting random bleeding. It’s not heavy enough to be a proper period but it’s enough to need a pad. I’m not sure if it’s peri related or not? I also seem to get it a few days after I’ve drunk loads which is odd!
