Oh wow love this thread! I've had my Peloton since August 2019 and it was a lifesaver during the last year especially. I've fallen off the wagon since the new year so I'm hoping this thread can motivate me again!

For anyone who is considering ordering one and would like $100/£100 off, my referral code is 3WB9XF

I’ve been on it 6 days a week, absolutely obsessed with it - unheard of for me to exercise so consistently for 2 months 😂

I've had the app since the 4th Jan (I'm a cheapskate so just using a decent spin bike), 163 workouts since then?! I've had more noticeable muscle gain in those 10 weeks than in however many years in the gym

It's funny though because I absolutely DESPISE running, but all my fave trainers do runs so I am half wanting to get the tread!

BRB, just going to do Andy's live upper body @ 4 :)

I've just got the tread!!! I still used the bike 6days out of 7,try to use the tread a bit my husband uses the tread more,it's tough I really really enjoy them
Both, for me ,my mental health is so good when I've used them in my day,and I've kept off the stone I gained 1st lock down. Lately I feel my shape has adjusted, but I don't do strength etc just cardio, time is precious as usually i do it when my 1year old naps. I
Do cross fit, when gyms open which is never lately and
I love weightlifting, though using the bike defiantly strengthened my rowing,so I know it's doing good, but for now no gym,and really I'm so happy with my lot I might not go back, but I really enjoyed the social side which feels like a long time ago now 😞-but I love this thread and peloton 👌

Do you have to buy the shoes that they recommend? I am so tempted!

They are good but you can buy far cheaper ones,I got my dad some for instance for his spin classes in the gym- on website wiggle-so much cheaper, the shoes help I believe, something I never thought I'd say before I got the bike!

I use them but there's lots of other brands. Just make sure they have "Look Delta" clips (rather than SPD which won't clip into the Peloton bike). Nike have recently brought out some sexy Peloton-compatible ones!

I’ve got the shoes and find them good but my feet are fairly narrow which makes them ok supposedly! Seen the nike superreps are popular

I got mine for free with an accessories pack because I work for the nhs - blue light card

Any recent rides people recommend? I'm hopping back on today after a three month break (eeek!) and want something to kick me back into gear!

I took Christine's latest classical ride yesterday it was a brilliant one for just moving the legs and freeing you're mind x

I'll be cancelling once the free 2 month trial ends. Maybe it's more compelling if you have their bike or treadmill?

But found there wasn't nearly enough content. I've gone through all the pre recorded workouts I'm interested in with the couple of trainers I like - there really isn't much after you add a filter or two. I need way more live classes (yoga or meditation in the morning or night would be good). I do like the American trainers and their faux mannerisms but once the gyms open doubt I'll have much interest in it and I'd subscribe to a service like this if there was more content.

Kendalls 30 minute hiit and Hills ride from last Tuesday, intense!

I'm the opposite, I feel like I'm overwhelmed with the amount of workouts and want to do absolutely everything all at once! Like I'll find one, bookmark it then bookmark another 50 I want to try
I do have my favourite 10 trainers and don't really venture much into the others - I'm just on the digital app with my own spin bike.
Had noticeable strength gains - both visible and in the numbers. I completed andys total strength programme on Sunday and the amount of change is amazing

How does the digital app work? Is it cheaper to buy your own bike and use the app?

My bike comes tomorrow OMG I am so excited! 😂 it was totally inspired by this thread. I love spin classes and have really missed them. It’s the only exercise I have ever actually enjoyed, I’m such a music-based exerciser!

I’d love to know of anyone’s favourite euphoric rides, that have really amazing building music? I’m definitely going to try the pop stuff but I do love house music which I’ve heard is less prevalent.

Does anyone use their own music while following a class?

I love all the hiit and hills classes, they’re bloody hard though, I did a Cody one today 🥵 bootcamps are also a fave but I’m missing my girl Jess sims this week!

I haven’t tried listening to my own music tbh because there’s so much choice and I need the instructor to know what I’m doing lol

check out power zone training, really good for building your fitness and endurance

The digital app is just on the play store or apple store, £13 a month with a 30 day free trial
Has all the workouts on (over 15000) and you can do bike and tread workouts you just don't have the leader boards and all the proper stats, and you have to guess/work out what the numbers would be for you
I got a half decent bike at £350 and have worked out the cadence, and drew on my resistance thing in increments so I kind of go as heavy as I should be haha

So happy to see this thread! My Peloton bike came last week. I'm obsessed already, it's actually hard not to use it every day (my bum/legs haven't adjusted yet, in fact today I've ordered a gel seat to go over the top). Much like @Cloak spin is the only cardio I genuinely enjoy and I'm absolutely loving being able to choose a class by artist, I never like the soundtracks at gym spin classes.
