I looked into it too, and honestly, it feels like a huge splurge for just the equipment and subscription. I mean, for the same price, I could get a solid gym membership with classes, personal training, and more. If you’re really into the live classes and community vibe, it might be worth it, but there are definitely cheaper ways to stay fit.

My fave instructor is Cody. I also like Sam, Jenn Sherman and Emma Locewell. Trying a Matt class for the first time today.

Aw cute! Quite a few of the instructors are pregnant at the moment

has anyone tried the split weight workouts? I’ve got Adrian’s 5 days split in my stack and I’m nervous 😂
Is split only on guide or has it made it to the non guide stuff yet?
I’m enjoying the roll call. Been doing Callie’s ones.

They're releasing a kinect type device next year for $ 500 for strength workouts. Wonder how advanced it will be? Share price fell another 2%.

He’s also not very well liked at PSL amongst the staff 👀
Really? I'm suprised about that, can you dish some more?
I find the stalker groups so weird, it's very odd the obsession people have with the PTs.
Don't get me started when people are positively strumming when a Peloton is on holiday. I don't want to see mine on a normal day 😫🤣. And on that note, I better go and get on it and get it over with.

I don't think buying any shares would be a good idea! They were falling from the peak early this year before this all. I'm not convinced they will continue to grow much - they haven't successfully managed to go outside of the spinning niche and so many competitors have eaten away at that potential market.
Should have bought those shares....they’ve risen 35% since they dropped after the recall...still not close to their peak though but a nice rise for some people (not me I don’t have a clue when it comes to the stock market, too risk averse!)

Has anyone else noticed that Ally Love looks visibly pregnant? I do a lot of her barre/pilates classes and it's so obvious now. She can announce when she pleases or not, but I bet she will be an amazing mother!

Still no option to book classes and they reopen on 22nd, 2 weeks Friday. Unless the return to PSL classes are already booked for regulars

Kendalls 30 minute hiit and Hills ride from last Tuesday, intense!

I'm the opposite, I feel like I'm overwhelmed with the amount of workouts and want to do absolutely everything all at once! Like I'll find one, bookmark it then bookmark another 50 I want to try
I do have my favourite 10 trainers and don't really venture much into the others - I'm just on the digital app with my own spin bike.
Had noticeable strength gains - both visible and in the numbers. I completed andys total strength programme on Sunday and the amount of change is amazing
How does the digital app work? Is it cheaper to buy your own bike and use the app?

Me too, I mainly do classes from the Brits too, always Sam but I like the others too. Although Ben did recently say “Your best self is calling, it’s time to pick up that phone” 🤮🤮🤣🤣
Sam seems lovely but I can never get on with the music in his classes, no matter what genre so I've had to leave some of his rides halfway in which is annoying!

I do wonder if the whole company is about to go pop sometime this year? They've raised more money to keep it going while she share price is around $8 and still keeps falling. I remember when people were saying buying shares at $100 would be a good idea!

They won't be making their bikes themselves anymore while they concentrate on software, but will anywhere be making them? Must cost a fortune to switch production elsewhere.

Interesting re share price. I was going to come to this thread to check they’re still worth getting as I’ll be finally committing in a few weeks time, but I’d heard about the change in production & don’t fancy being a beta tester for whatever first run comes out of their new supplier! 😬

I really like Hannah Frankson, her pop rides are always great fun and hard work!
Also like Bradley and Leanne. I've done a couple of Jess King's rides too and they've been a good workout. I do tend to lean towards the British instructors, though.
Hannah is an absolute vibe. Absolute personality. Amazing. I can never maintain Jess kings longevity efforts on the bike at her rx. Jess techno ride yesterday left me half dead ☠

What other things did you try?
My next two weeks are all planned out!
Having little music themed days so one day is Metallica bike followed by Metallica full body, next is a Britney day, Bon Jovi day can't wait!
just more stuff in the gym, weightlifting - doing sets and reps etc
i used to love it but it just hasn’t gelled the same with me again
that sounds like so much fun!!

I did Robyns first live back in the studio but found her microphone too loud even on the more music setting?

I did a new strength class with Callie yesterday and she spent most of the class telling peloton guide users how to get the most out of that equipment...how you need to position your body, how you need to keep moving even in rest as otherwise you dont get points etc. Started to piss me off 🤣🤣🤣

I've just canceled my subscription after 3 years, I'm disillusioned with Peloton, its the competitive aspect and the leader board that gets on my tits, a constant feeling of failure when I know I'm pretty fit. People doing a zillion classes a day making my 45 mins feel shite.
I'm keeping the equipment for days I cba to drive to the gym, however, being back at Bannatynes is a breath of fresh air. I ache in bits I forgot I had and people don't fawn over the Body Pump and Body Combat instructors 😂
I tend to hide the leaderboard and just concentrate on my own workout! I know what you mean though. I’m missing the gym at the moment. However I have a 1 year old and we’re planning a second so being able to work out at home for the next few years is better. When I have more flexibility I’ll be back to the gym instead I reckon!
